tsla just pop 4.5% after hour today 6/8/23...how high will it goes tomorrow? suntrader: are u making any money yet on your tsla short?
SunTrader doesn't short stocks. Instead he prefers to sneer and rant about Tesla's overvaluation, a result (in his mind) of Tesla fanboys blind devotion to Musk. Certainly, he isn't alone. Seeking Alpha's highly educated and TA driven analyst (posted above on this thread) had a hold at 188 on May 25 when TSLA was at 184. 10 days later, we may see the week close above 250, TSLA'S 2nd longest positive closing day in its history (irony, since May 25). There's a lesson to be learned there.
LOL kills ya huh, Vic that a trader (not fanboi perma-hodl) talks about price going ......... down as well as up. Bet you wish short-selling was not allowed almost as much as Musk wishes he never heard of Twitter. MRO of TD Sell Seq was a double signal. A new one is setting up:- Maybe next drop won't be $50+. Maybe.
Did I just hear barking? This isn't about Musk adoration, it's about understanding TESLA's potential and associated stock valuation. You do nothing more or less than I do, except you come out on the negative side of the analysis while I'm on the positive side. To date, I don't recall anything you've written about Tesla that isn't emotional, and we've been sparring about 3 years over this. Over time, I have frequently detailed why I think TSLA is a good trading and/or investment stock. I know because I made a shitload of money trading it in 2020, then lost a boatload after diversifying my trading portfolio, then watching the market drop last year, including TSLA. But I was convinced enough about the company to buy low (remember the TSLA $5 prediction?) and have since recovered most of my TSLA losses. For the record, I've projected 300 in 2023, 400 in 2024 and 500 in 2025 (split expected) as a result of Tesla's continued growth in vehicle sales in line with expectations, exponential demand and sales in energy business and, in late 2025, the breakthrough of FSD as the world's most reliable self driving solution that Musk has already stated he is open to license to other automakers.
"... the breakthrough of FSD .........." When did that happen? Project all you want. Musk has been throwing nonsense statements since day one. Wall Street likes cold hard data. Did you project stock price dropping by 3/4 also? https://www.theverge.com/2023/5/25/23737972/tesla-whistleblower-leak-fsd-complaints-self-driving BTW you can't fool me - the way you take anything that isn't 100% positive spin for Tesla as to how much you "made" wink, wink.
GM EVs to use Tesla chargers Owners of General Motors-built electric vehicles will soon be able to access Tesla’s network of superfast EV chargers. Ford recently announced a similar plan. GM said the move could bring about “a single North American charging standard,” making it simpler for drivers to find a charger. BloombergNEF’s latest market analysis showed that EV sales are up everywhere: a 60% increase in sales worldwide, including a 200% jump in much of Asia. That’s while car sales in general remained flat. On current trends, the analysis suggested, three-quarters of all cars driven around the world will be electric by 2050, and the energy powering them will be 80% zero-carbon.
GM and Ford capitulate, at least the charger standard. but i feel elon's brothter will selll large block soon.
