Oh that's makes it so much better. How about making the motor better after recording multiple replacements over multiple vehicles over multiple years. I personally have never heard of any vehicle having any part part replaced 8 times, especially a critical part.
That neither Toyota nor Honda nor Nissan is on that table should tell you everything that this research is highly biased at best.
lolz, so Tesla didn't even start offering an unlimited mileage warranty and probably saw their hand forced by consumer protection? This is how they spin it; "We went 1M on 9 motors"? There's Toyotas and Hondas w/over a million miles out there, nevermind countless 18 wheelers. They don't try to make a PR stunt out of it so all are way past their drivetrain warranty (I'd like to see the reasoning of this dude on putting 1M on a daily in such short period). An engine is the most expensive part of an ICE vehicle and 111k average miles (1M/9) is basically done by every OEM at this point.
If you push your Tesla to the limit (or "red line") regularly, you'll need need engine mounts and more. In many ways EVs are better and I'd probably prefer one over ICE, let's not pretend they don't suffer from many of the issues ICE cars do.
My favourite argument was the "Tesla doesn't do marketing" thing. Yup, sending the Tesla vehicle to space was not marketing, not at all.
For years Tesla didn't do discounts .... till they did. Thanks to competition, that they are having a hard time responding to. Happens to the best of them when they are longer "the only game in town".
A redline argument is stupid. There's a reason most automatic cars don't have a tachometer, a redline is an indicator for manual transmission drivers to not be stupid. EVs can have a tachometer too but it'd be as pointless as it is in an auto vehicle. Yes I know many "manualized" autos have a tach.
From my experience many automatics (at least non-American or not low-budget foreign ones) do have a tach.
