'Tent cities' of homeless on the rise across the US

  2. It happens in any recession. I'll bet that most of those tent dwellers are construction workers.

    Technically we are not in recession, the stimulus package kept the economy from contracting, who knows when we will actually be in a recession, that is two quarters of contraction, even though Obama keeps repeating the recession word and nobody demands he prove it.....
     
  3. Maybe the tent dwellers just got tired of dealing with the HOAs :p
     
  4. Actually, we have them. You see them, get up, out of their tents, go down to the stream, wash up, and then go to work.

    You must be hearing horror stories no matter where you live. Empty malls, restaurants......... This one is different. Torn county, no confidence in anything.
