Tenet: Iraq Not Imminent Threat

Discussion in 'Politics' started by waggie945, Feb 5, 2004.

  1. Oh yea, the left wants to make the country vulnerable for the past 30 years.

That is because they are all communists.

Politics is so easy when it is as clear as you make it for us.

    Rush 101.

  3. Uh oh...was there a news report that Mexico was getting ready to cross the border and retake Texas or something?? :)

On a scale of 1 to 10, Mexico's military threat level is about -10 (they're much more dangerous to Mexico itself than to the US).

Given his intentions to rebuild his weapons programs once scrutiny was off him, Saddam's continued rule (while not an imminent danger) would eventually prove dangerous and destabilizing - but then again, Israel's continued provocations are probably more immediately destabilizing and generate more negative sentiment and threats to the US.

As far as Mexico goes though - they do pose a big economic threat to the US - if they were to withdraw all their illegal aliens from the US, there would be no migrant farmworkers, bus boys, gardeners, garment sweat shop workers, etc. - the US economy would grind to a halt.

    :) :) :)

  5. Glad I was able to help.

As for the liberals and left, name one national security initiative they have supported. Their whole agenda is to subordinate US interests to international control, no doubt because they feel the US leaders are imperialistic warmongers.

As for the left's being communists, they certainly get upset when we oppose communism, whether in vietnam, Europe, Latin America or Cuba. Give me one example of any anti-communist initiative the left has supported. They are still annoyed about the Rosenbergs getting executed for giving Stalin our nuclear secrets.

  6. Thank you Mr. Anne Coulter.

Hard to believe people are still fearful of communism the way you are.

  8. Drugs from many countries are definitely a clear and present danger - definitely agree with you there.

Would rather have seen the military start bombing the hell out of the drug cartels and targeting everyone involved with them.
