Tell Why You Oppose The Re-election of Obama

  1. I know the non GOP apologists are not supposed to respond, but when I see them mention things like our POTUS being a liar, and then supporting Romney, well, that's just hilarious. Need I post the zillion links to Romeny and Ryan lies? Or can you guys just attempt googling on your own?

OK, here's a start for you: Mitt Romney
tells 533 lies in 30 weeks, Steve Benen documents them.

Obama promised that anyone who made under $250K would not get a tax increase, and I made well under $250K and got a tax increase. And it was the sneaky, underhanded way he went about it, burying a tax on tanning beds in his Affordable Care Act. I don't tolerate being misled and lied to like that by anybody, and I'm voting for Romney, as I would whomever opposed Obama.

The company I work for is owned by Pepsico and they gave us free Pepsico stock options as part of our benefit plan. In order for Pepsico to comply with the increased cost imposed upon them by the ACA, they cancelled that benefit. I cashed out my options and recieved a little over $1000. So over four years, it would be fair to say that voting for Obama would cost me $4000. Should I pay $4K in order to remain popular with my friends on the smoking patio of my favorite piano lounge? No. In fact, when one of my liberal friends was railing against Romney and Republicans in general at the piano bar last week, he asked how could anyone vote for a Republican. I told him that I would be doing exactly that in November. He could barely hide his astonishment and anger. I explained to him my reasons, just as I have explained in this post. He literally said that the US needs a social system more like Europe and Americans need to wake up, (yes, he's from Europe, the quintessential Eurotrash).

I have never voted "for" a candidate in a presidential election. I've always voted to stop the other candidate from election. That even meant voting for John Kerry in 04. I'm tired of having to do that, but frankly there are no candidates out there that represent my interests. I simply want to minimize the harm to myself.

    Too funny.
    I voted for Kerry, also.
    I really did.

I voted for the dope, Little George Bushit in 2000.

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.

  6. You can always count on Pheonix Trading to give a silly answer to
an important question. A response like the above is disrespectful to the
others who posted thoughtfully in this thread.

  7. Well then, I challenge you to demonstrate how my answer was silly.

btw: No I wasn't stupid enough to vote for "chavez" in 2008.

As many of us suspected, the man proved to be an inexperienced, incompetent socialist, who feels contempt about the Congress and our constitution and harbors extremely negative views about both the free market system and human life.

Not to mention that throughout his entire life he has repeatedly been given a free pass because of his race and ability to bulls**t you to death on anything he chooses to lie about.

But the real culprit here is the liberal media who essentially staged this coup and left turn for the nation as a proof of their considerable power and bloody willingness to use it like a well coordinated pack of hyenas. :(
