On CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight, Ted Turner said he thinks it’s “good” that American soldiers are committing suicide in large numbers because it shows an aversion to war.

 

Just avoid anything "Turner".

 

Context: "....."I think it's good, because it's so clear that we're programmed and we're born to love and help each other, not to kill each other, to destroy each other," Turner said.

Don't even attempt to defend your liberal pal. Some things are indefensible. This is one of them.

 

How can this be an aversion to war if they volunteer? afaik, it's fairly easy to get out of the service early, we are missing the real problem.

PIERS MORGAN: Would you be happy, if President Obama wins, to pay more tax? He's indicated he wants to tax the rich more.

TED TURNER: Sure.

MORGAN: You think –

TURNER: I'd give all my money away, almost all of it.


So what's stopping him? Why doesn't he do it now? The US Treasury takes donations every day, all he has to do is cut a check!
