  1. Maybe a joyous memory attached to the movie because of his young daughters which might make it his favorite movie.

Don't demean the real sacrifices Americans made during WWII to defeat an actual monster.

  3. Well that changes things completely because The Princess Bride was a classic for Generation X. Must have watched that on HBO almost every sick day during elementary school.
    Classic!

Many times in the past when republicans repeatedly capitulated to Obama when they held the majority in Congress I was simply baffled.

The rigged republican primary process has really shed light onto this pathology.

The reason the republicans in congress left the field before every battle is because they decided they cannot win on their platform or their principles so they adopted a new platform and new principles that happened to align nicely with the Barrack Obama liberal agenda.

Now they are actually fighting against any of their own candidates who might be able to win against Hillary Clinton. It is almost inconceivable except for the fact that it is actually happening right now.

The entire farce is also showing the whole world that American democracy is a load of shit. A rigged game.

So... you are going to tell conservative Americans that you are taking the country far left and they don't even have the ability to vote against it?

Remember those militias mentioned in the constitution? This is what they are for.

A mirror image of his probable opponent, at least in terms of public perception, although behind the scenes you probably don't get to that point without some likeability.

You do have the ability, but not the numbers. And the president has a veto.

Untethered militias, they're what democracy is for.

It's almost what has to happen in order for this country to undertake a massive change to the system. When politics is covertly corrupt, people sit back and ignore it, most of the time. When it is overt, it is much easier to buck the system and the outrage can be channeled (Trump). Trump will probably not be President. But one thing is for sure. Eventually, if things keep up like this, someone with Trump's ideals, who is much better at verbally conveying them, will be.
