  1. you should do a prop firm trading challenge. That way its closer to live trading and you actually get to trade real money after you passed.

  2. The amount of time you've put into this journal is remarkable. Thank you again. No doubt it will help future aspiring and seasoned traders; tomorrow, or 10 years from now, they'll be thankful.

    Haters always gone hate.

  3. @volpri I actually recommend your thread, when asked about trading. I tell people I am on sabbatical from finance, super vague AF (keep a low profile). Art Historian works well too. Then I give them your thread.

I think your use of micros is great for beginners. I have never used them, but if you can get the experience at a fraction of the cost, while also pursuing another career path (hedging), then it could be feasible. And it will take many, many years...

    And you better be LUCKY!!!

But as a professional like @Max E. I also have to recognize that this is a very dangerous business. Lots of casualties. Lots of sad endings, so as much as trading has given me, it came at a price. And like Max, I am not sure it was worth it. Yes, being to the best restaurants in the world, hanging out with major movie stars, supermodels, etc. I am just not sure.

But trading's dark side is a beast...

Thank you. I hope it helps in some way. I have nothing to sell. No system to monetize. Just want to share how I scalp.

Thanks. I trust that the folks you share the thread with find something useful in it. Also, what I show on the micros can just as easily be done on ES or NQ. Things are only limited by account size. The process is the same.

The road is full of pitfalls and mine fields so to speak but they can be navigated. It does take time and practice.

Tired. More mentally I suppose. Physical things like gardening help. And I think I have shared enough for folks to wade through and think over. Should keep them busy for a bit anyway. If they have a mind to wade through it.

  10. Great idea. Hell, I'll sponsor @volpri with $49 for a 50K challenge with Topstep. A great way to show the efficacy of the method.
