Exactly right! I don't want to be disrespectful to Steven, but from looking at his charts and reading his comments and observations, it seems to me that we will only every get an excellent post analysis. I will say though, these guys make excellent reporters because they are describing accurately what happened. Current reporters in the media can't even get the facts straight... LOL... But with the exception of today, I never quite know where the trades are, even though the post analysis is very accurate. But even today's chart has me wondering exactly where the trades are. Since this is Volpri's journal, I think anyone posting should show entries clearly marked by the platform of where they enter and exit just like he does.
Exactly? What a bizarre comment Since this is "Exactly" how the rest of you are managing your charts, there is no need for me to post again. I do apologize to Volpi Carry on as you were.
Hello Laissez Faire, Yes, I am proud Retail Trader. I am GAMBLING GUESSING HOPING Retail Trader. And I a love it every minute of it. Being a dumb gambling trader works really well for me. The more smarter I try to be as a trader, the more money I lose and takes forever trying to be a smart trader.
At the first sign of disagreement you run away??? Jesus... I was expecting more from a poster who has been around since 2009. You mention we need high level stats to understand what you are doing, but all you show on your charts is looking at highs and lows for the first hour and then taking a trade when the candles show a 2 bar reversal. And the exit at the opening low print isn't exactly proprietary you know.. LOL... But I understand that you need to get back to your paying students who must have lots of questions.
Since your English comprehension is suspect Let me clear up a few things First, students do not pay me, my client is the fund Second, Stats & Probability 100 & 200 is first year and is simply a basic requirement. I don't feel the need to "run" anywhere. I do however need to learn to have more patience for the learning impaired among you.
I assumed you were referring to my comments to @volpri. If you don't work with retails why post here? Professionals on ET don't need your service, they are professionals, don't need help. We retails on the other hand are learning and struggling. We also have lots of scar tissues on our back from paying for classes, courses and coaching without any profits to show so we became skeptics on pay curriculum, courses and algos. @volpri was very specific about his approaches and strategy which we could follow and tested it ourself. He is also generous in explaining how to. I tested it with two weeks of paper trades with profitable outcome. In your posts you frequently mentioned your curriculum and courses and gave out generic advices, but not a lot of specifics on how to trade. I couldn't test your method or strategy based on your posts to know if you are the real deal.
I'm just saying that what you posted seemed to be basic retail charting and retail concepts (Market Profile) when you claimed that what you just shared was not even close to what retail traders are doing.
Hello SunTrader, And those who can, do not want nothing to do with teaching anyone cause they are too tired, stressed, and comfortable taking money from the market easily. I can NEVER EVER in my life teach anyone how to trade the ES futures market like I do. Makes no sense for me to share anything. Better to just brag and keep the money to myself. Pay me $150,000 and I teach you everything. Once I am trading 100 ES contract, I am not telling you guys and gals nothing, just showing off my account balance. that is enough motivation for you that it CAN be done. Anyone making seriously money, not sharing nothing, BUT my PnL and stats.
