Lol…not many Walmart assistants I know of make $132.50 for 70 minutes work. This trading a measly 1 contracts for 12 trades except for the first one which was 5 contracts to jumpstart it. What is tiring isn't so much the trading but the trading coupled with the annotations to explain it to interested folks. That is mostly what gets me tired. The annotations. It is work to explain things in simple ways. Now mickey do those figures trading 10 Es contracts for 70 minutes and see if you can get a free refill on your coffee at your favorite coffee shop..roflmao BTW can you frequent a coffee shop without that vax passport? I hear they are strict down there?
Recorder? You can make multiple recordings, like a journal, and later listen to them. See what's meaningful, and transcribe it into notes. So no annotations during real-time trading. I may actually do this myself, as an experiment. Thanks. You can share the recordings with @padutrader He will appreciate it... You know, for the Fund...
BTW folks reverse everything if looking for a bull reversal bar in a bull trend with a PB. That is, a reversal of the PB for a continuation of the bull trend. Of course, there are other types of bear and bull reversals but I am dealing here with reversals of PB’s which are a reversal themselves of the previous trend. So a reversal of a reversal ROFLMAO. OR A FAILED PB reversal. Now have a cup of strong coffee!
Thanks for the suggestion. My son once showed me about that technique. I guess i have just never really applied it. Thoughts for me seem to flow if I write them out. I miss alot of trading opportunities doing so but that is ok. I am in books a million now while the wife went to Dillards and other stores she frequents. I don't like shopping. I doubt padu needs any help from me. He is his own man.
But seriously, while in a trade, and always a grinding one, I am having all these thoughts (questioning it, etc.). Then, I pull out, and once I cash in my chips, I forget about it, like a dream. So, I have to do it for myself. I instantly forget about all the super uncomfortable feelings, and I really think I can learn something from all those shitty feelings. Funny how the mind works... @padutrader would NOT be cool with his team missing trading opportunities. Unacceptable for the hedge fund. Please @volpri
Sidetracking for a mo..... I've stopped drinking coffee, bugga. I enjoyed a cup and the walk and the outing but I had cancer in and around my ear which after a painful operation under local anaesthetic looks like all but gone. I now have cancer in the oesophagus and op next week to remove that. The coffee has an effect of making me feel relaxed but at the same time seems to make my heart pump faster, kind of a contradiction, feel good but feel anxious. Yeah, I enjoy coffee but its affecting my heart. Was in hospital this week and a surgeon told me that symptoms of a fluttering heart (not a strong methodical heart beat) is becoming more common and he didn't know why. My guess it's maybe coffee as it is very popular these days, coffee shops everywhere. Anyway, having an operation with an irregular heart beat is dangerous, can lead to strokes on the operating table. Where I am in Perth, no vax passports required for anything.
You could also use OBS Studio to record part, or all, of your screen while you trade, and record audio of your tips at the same time. Then upload the video/audio to YouTube and embed it here. Once you learned how to do this, it would be much faster and much easier on you. Get your son to help you. OBS is free, open-source software. https://obsproject.com/
Volpri - Interesting. I have been using a similar idea for years. I think slightly less complicated. i.e. long - 1 ema, 20. Price goes above 20 ema 2 or 3 or 4 or so # of bars, retraces to the 20 ema, after touching the ema enter 1 tick above the down bar that touches the ema. Take partial profits before the previous high and let run if goes above that high bar for the remainder.
@themickey Remember ME??? PS. STAY ALIVE, and beat the living shit out of cancer. I know, I am a "Low Life"... PS. Tim is dead. My treat (yep, I really did that one). I am an OK trader, making ends meet. Hopefully ONE day!!! I will LIVE THE DREAM... Like @padutrader with his hedge fund. But I think, by this stage, you know I am all right.
