I hadn't realized I was omitting the pace change. Am I not following the instructions correctly?

  5. Neoxx,

Your tenacity and dedication are appreciated by us all. A brief comment on my earlier statement to you concerning the overlap pictorial. For compactness the minimalist form is, IMO, better but for recall, Jack's "pair" format is superior. Physicians are used to stuffing wads of stuff into their microcephalic craniums and as there was so much of it, we had no choice but to economize.

And speaking of economizing do you think you could put up blank versions of your 'debrief', 'profit locus' and 'loss locus' tables? If this is not possible then no big deal.

I thank you and remain parasitically present,

    lj

Lj, your comments are always welcome and appreciated.

Thanks for the clarification RE the overlap diagram. Glad to hear you've also been through the rote-learning ringer and lived to tell the tale :p

I'm just using a basic excel template (sans formulae), but I'd be happy to email it to you. Just drop me a PM.

Thanks, but they were only papertrades, Romanus. And one lazy channel diagonal would have ousted the lot of them! :p

Jack mandated that I don't go live until I've got Advanced Beginner firmly in hand, and that's still a good way off.

Still making lots of mistakes with annotation and sequences, but at least it's clear where I need to be putting extra focus.

  10. there are two PACE oriented columns.

I one you log the PACE (left) From top to bottom the symbols are E H M L DU and VDU

The second PACE column is P chg or equivalent (PC- CH). there is a cell for each row. If pace changes put the symbol for PACE in the cell and use an arrow to show how that value got to be what it is. For example PACE changes from H to M. Put in an M and put in the cell a down arrow. This symbolizes a PACE change from a value above M to M.

By doing these two columns, you get a continuous vertical column showing PACE. Your mind will notice this as time passes and it keeps you aware of the market's PACE a "behaviioral" thing that the market wqants you to "hear" from the market to you each time you are preparing a data set for analysis. This is not just recording lab data it is letting the market begin to "speak" to you.

some time in the future you will begin the "see" the market and "see" how the market operates. When driving a car you use the indicator panel in front of you and it has several kinds of gauges, dials and lights of different colors. these thing, relative to how your car performs, inform you of what is going on.

I have a 12 cylinder car with three automatic transmissions (my choice by using a slider that sets my preference. If a red neck in a pickup comes up behind me and crowds me for his reasons. I slde into "sports" setting and remove myself from his area of vision; while doing this I regard my PACE since I do not want to call attention to myself for any extended periiod of time. My fuel rate of consumption gauge often goes to a high rate of consumption for a period of time then it awings back to normal and below as I let my PACE drop back to normal.

Soon as an expert you will gather into a subset about 15 columns of information. Often going to and from Whitehorse, I was invited to sit in the jump seat. It was fun because of all the guages and dials and lights. Multi engine is a fun experience. If you are following a "heavy" into Vancouver it helps to keep track of what is going on in addition to the visual. There ar two counter rotating vorices to keep track of and they do not show visually to any extent. Putting a wing in one of them changes how the control surfaces work.

I am putting columns in the log to keep you active in gathering subsets of data. When you are doing the closely connected reversals there is a reason. You are manuvering unnecesarily, often, when you vould be in a glide path that is self correcting called a traverse.

As you see we sit in level 2 (traverses) for four skill levels. You, presently have several good habits and several translations and inventions running. I am trying to help you build on good habits and I am not mentioning anything else since I want these other things to get pushed to dust and get disconnected by your mind activity of choosing to add new habits.

We are moving up form 4 cylinders to 6 to 8 to 12 and we are going multi-engine in a while. Your mind will soon have several transmissions and using the right one briefly will take you away from undesirable translations and inventions.

If, as has been pointed out to you, you skip annotations, you will find that things are not clear and certain. It then, you substitute some alternative that you have not been given any directions on, then you drift further away from having clean deliniations.

SCT is designed to let you do what you want, and, if you do, then you make a small profit to get back on track. We are just talking points. The main objective is to capture profit segments by undstanding what MODE means in terms of the P, V relationship.

the market, on each of its levels moves in sequences. The sequences are given to you from the inference of your mind, if and when you are working smart and critically. How this inference gets in your mind is by following and doing drills that are designed to follow the dictates of the market.

You will see that Beginner Inernals follows Advanced Beginner. advanced beginner is what comes after Beginner channel trading. Now we are suing the parts of beginner we built to be able to do channels in a direct and flawless manner. Channels overlap. This fact allows you to transition from one channel to another during the non dominant traverse coing to and being completed at the Breakout AND the trough of volume where the hiking trile does not change color.

Knowing these things, you are then able to follow the sequence of the channel and trade the profit segments that make up the segments (stages) of the channel from beginning overlap to ending overlap.

Advanced beginner allows you tobetter focus on these stages and to let go of past stages that no longer bear on the stages you are within and that are upcoming.

The market Tells you these things, slowly carefully and acurately. As more vertical columns are added you will begin to see the continuity of the sequences. So far though, I cannot give you directions that you will follow to accomplish these things.

See if you can do PACE and pace change columns until Friday. See if you can ease into non dominant things like internals showing up. Try to start the day with an entry fairly soon while knowing whether you are in a dom or non dom (traverse) and then taking the traverse turn accordingly when it arrives.

So far we have been cutting back on past CW trading fairly well. You are recognizing that making money comes from the HOLD part of MADA AND that HOLD largely comes from the MODE of the market that is underconsideration. That MODE comes from M data sets AND nkowing the one to one paring of the M subset to the A element of the A finite set.

We don't get many X signals for MODE. X signals come as a consequence of sequences happening. The remarks part of A is where the stage of a sequence is found as you go down the column vertically. Your inference is the contributing facet that is 90% of perception (you write perceptions in the log and NOT sensory inputs which are 10% of perception).

As days go by and you wake up and repeat the many concurrent drills. Do log any aha's you find in color starting now. aha's are NOT translations nor inventions. they are inferential realizations that come from your unconscious working all night long to strength any long term memory that is developing.
