We go from smnall to large since that is how pieces form a whole. You get the whole as a consequence. we will always do synthesis and analysis. To build you put the pices together so they are there and differentiated in the mind. when we work on information being fed to us, we do gathering of it in to our minds in a form that fit our vocabulary and symbols as shapes that for groups (words or subsets or clustoers) these are compared to meanings. Then we use meanings to do analysis. it is problem solving. We conduct or problem solving with certainty BECAUSE we have certainty vocabulary (binary vector) AND most of ALL, we use the null hypothesis instead of induction. And example of induction is our migration on matrices using the tic tack toe with the center cell being the operating point.
