Sorry I hadn't realized I'd need a colour printer and scanner. I've placed an order and can collect it from the store on Tuesday (just to ensure no delivery problems).

Also, sorry if the answer is obvious, but I'm not sure what you mean when you say the log has no horizontal lines. Do you mean they don't show up clearly?

  3. I have a problem.

I'm not going to be able to help you out.

I do not have the capacity to get to a place to begin to work with you.

Chart, I believe, was giving you some good direction. You are not going to be able to take direction from anyone to be able to carry out how to communicate and exchange thoughts.

I have not been able, after spending a lot of time trying to put your attachments in some place or some form in order to support your learning.

Many people in ET have been able to post attachments. By doing so they are able to share illustrations and advance a dialogue.

I am a person that expects a person to print the results of each day and work after hours, colored pen in hand, and debrief.

You do not have a printer that prints in color or scans the work you were given to do (assigned is how I was thinking about it) and you think I am asking you to buy something very different than what peope attach to their computers to print out things like emails, forms, pdf's of douments that come from many many sources on the web or illustrations in ET.

See if you can use the web to get a printer that prints pdf's and such shipped to you overnight by some form of shipping.

I am very sorry to see that you are unable to even begin.

  4. It is okay for you not to be able to figure out such things. that is how the world turns for some people.

Today PC's use color screens. There is reason for this. More information can be made available per unit time.

I was made an MTS at Bell Labs as an undergraduate. I am failing to be able to put myself in your place and to be able to understand that you cannot get the concept that printing a chart in color is not how any person would begin to keep records on getting educated.

Money is something not many people understand. Printing a color copy of a page top be able to work with it is what I call a necessity of life.

You cannot understand the connection between seeing something in color on a screen and being able to have it printed as I have asked for 15 days and be able to work on it and then scan the results of your work in color and post it so it could have been critiqued by someone in order to build a record here for the benefit of many many people.

    Too bad.

I appreciate your honesty, and thank you for the patience and generosity you've shown.

While it's unfortunate that this didn't turn into the rich and valuable resource that was initially envisioned, it's consoling to know that it has already benefited many people.

On a parting note, I'd be very grateful if you could post a small sample of a completed log.

    Best wishes,
    Neoxx

This may be a moot point now, but . . .

Check the pixel size on your file. It's still 2551 x 3289, that's huge. It's probably your scanner settings, either size or file type setting that you're scanning to.

Or you can reduce it easily with MS Office Picture Manager or lacking that, open it in Paint and use the "resize" option.

Anyone wanting to see or edit the log can right click it, copy and paste into paint, and resize it. It should edit without a problem.

Man, you are going to piss Jack off even more.

Way too much SlateGray, Jack gave explicit instructions to use colors. Take the same chart and use more Cyan, Magenta, Teal, and SkyBlue. (Use SkyBlue for rally days...) In your price chart make sure gaussians are always MedianBlue and Red.

How can you expect to profit without following simple instructions???

I think you can still do this, but you must start today to follow Jack's instructions with much greater fidelity.

    Good trading,

You got the size down. This time it wouldn't let me edit in color with paint. So I did the right click, cut and paste thing; then it would edit fine. Weird stuff.

  10. Neoxx. FWIW, I have no problem doing a Paint edit.
