I put some notes up above and corrected for accuracy some of your definitions. You can see that you ommitted half of the volume symbols we NEED and you added five that I did not suggest. Boot camp is tough because it begins with getting a foundation straight. If a person does not have a foundation, it follows that he cannot build on the substitute for a foundation. With regard to educating children, I have sat in on evening classes of elementary teachers in America where continuing education classes were given. One evening, where the graduate ed head was teaching her special class based on her national student evaluation system, we both found out that none of the teachers knew where the rules of Arithmatic came from or were founded upon. There are probably many people in ET who were taught by these types of unqualified paid teachers. I was asked to demonstate as an example for the class how anything raised to the power of 0 had a specific value. They were all glassy eyed as I started by saying:"how many different proffs do you want explained?" To trade as an expert or any other level you NEED a FOUNDATION. The first day of bootcamp is designed to engender that. You have to HAVE a vocabulary for filling in the columns of volume and price. The symbols MUST reflect the PV relationship WORD components as SYMBOLS. So far you do NOT have a VOCABULARY of more than 50%. If you do not HAVE a 100% VOCABULARY (meaning covering all the bases of the FOUNDATION, you will not be able to proceed successfully. We have spent 9 days of NOT being able to log to be able to trade as a beginner. It is okay with me since I only have to take you to expert in 22 days. I have the time but we better begin to complete day 1 fairly soon. Post a complete and accurate statement of 10 volume symbols and their definition in terms of the PV relationship. Also repeat the 3 price symbols which you have completed. From this we will make up all the combinations of volume and price and set up the one to one correspondence to the 2 elements of the Analysis MODE binary pair. Once this is learned, then the D column one to one correspondence of the 5 elements of Decision relative to MODE can be tabulated. Then the beginner manual and ATS is complete (the OP wanted an ATS, I believe).
Our vocabulary posts overlapped. we are now at a point where the foundation for beginner trading is set. Drills build the mind. As you suggest you will be current on this by the next trading day. As you do the days by annotating and logging, add contracts as your profits indicate. Lets use 2,000 dollars per ES contract as margin for ease of adding contracts. We will use the adding of contracts from profits as the way a trader qualifies his skills through performance. At 50 contracts we will start using harmonics no matter what skill level has been acquired at that point. This means we will do partial fills to complete reversals by following either an odd harmonic or an even harmonis, for which ever is in vogue at that moment. You may only trade on the basis that "you know that you know". Post as a follow up on THIS post: the combinations of Volume and Price symbols that give you an X for mode. Then add for each stated combo what would be put in the D column and the A column (symbolically). When you have that done and posted; all other combinations are C in MODE, HOLD in D, and ommitted in A columns. When you do not "know that you know" you fill in the row and Remark: "I am not in synch, so I am exiting". When you get back on track, you enter on the right side of the market with a market order and complete a row so stating in the remarks column. For the remaining PV symbol combos that were not on the X list, you simply make a tree of symbol pairs that show how the sequence of C's in MODE occur in the order that they do. Make sure the tree includes trending days of both types as branches and that you include the W day and the M day as branches. Alway include a midday section and in that section make a reference to the a separate illustration sewt for how each type of lateral can be occurring. All of this goes in the bootcamp 3 ring binder that is separate from your RTH's 3 ring binder which as about 10 pages per day except for the fact that we will be redoing the days of boot camp 7 times each as drills.
Revised list of Price and Volume terms: Volume R2B - This symbol means two things: A bounce off a LTL on a "short" channel and a bounce off a RTL on a "long" channel B2R - This symbol means two things: A bounce off a LTL on a "long" channel and a bounce off a RTL on a "short" channel R2R - This trough symbol marks the end of the overlap after the end of a "long" channel and after the start of a "short" channel which was signified by the FTT that gave point 1 of the new SHORT channel. B2B - This trough symbol marks the overlap after the end of a "short" channel and after the start of a "long" channel which was signified by the FTT that gave point 1 of the new LONG channel. I - R = Increasing Red = this refers to the successively increasing red volume bars which occur after a bounce from the RTL on a "short" trend AND after the initiation of a new "short" trend D - R = Decreasing Red = this refers to the successively decreasing red volume bars which occur after a bounce from the LTL on a "long" trend I - B = Increasing Black = this refers to the successively increasing black volume bars which occur after a bounce from the RTL on a "long" tred AND after the initiation of a new "long" trend D-B = Decreasing Black = this refers to the successively decreasing black volume bars which occur after a bounce from the LTL of a "short" trend P - Peak volume: this symbol refers to the highest volume of a price move; price is unsustainable at this level. T - Trough - this signals the lowest volume of a price move; a volume breakout will precede a price breakout Price L - Long - price making a higher high and a higher low S - Short - price making a lower high and a lower high FTT - Failure To Traverse - Price bouncing off the Right Trend Line but failing to reach the Left Trend Line. INT - Internal - Price moving horizontally as the market pauses for breath. Internal formations consist of pennants (aka triangles) [symmetrical, flat-top, flat-bottom] and laterals The response to the next post will follow.
I made more annotations across the bottom to deal with precursors of gold circle and during the gold circle. I am only working in a boot camp beginner modus at this point. Soon we will have all charts annotated and their respective logs. At that time we will be trading as advanced beginners, then beginner internals. We will repeat logging for each level for all charts from chart 1 onward. The logs will add a new V and new P column for each level of advance. The grey shaded space anticipates this. For beginner internals the remarks will begin to include internals differentiation. If and when remarks get crouded we will shift some remarks to the M part of the MADA. As we go to intermediate, the YM will appear on the log and double the number of V and P columns the YM will be to the left of the ES in the M part of the log. All symbols that we have will be used for each level of ES, YM and the tic charts when we get to expert. As may be seen the beginner level is a slowly changing experience. Advanced beginner picks things up a little. Beginner internals deepens advanced beginner. Then we begin to learn to "anticipate". The tree that is now assigned will then have a "leading" shadow from the YM columns. At this time a knee in the learning curve has arrived. We have completed the basic width of the PV differentiation. After this we begin to use additional volume of the mind for other non PV tasks. the last thing of PV differentiation that happens is that the "steer and focus" analysis loops us over to the non PV differentiation that the mind develops. It is like going from a string quartet of PV into the orchestration of a symphony having 70 instruments where the theme is conducted from one instrument group to another. we never exceed the minds shortest term performance combo of streams of interest. these combos are separate and we conduct ourselves to the pertinent one at the appropriate time. It may becomng evident as to how an SCT trade can easily assess the CW crosswiring in others. there are about 80 good edges in the CW edge trading. they do not come up frequently in market movements unfotunately. As you see in ET most skilled edge traders do not take on many edges in combination and mostly, and unfortunately, usually these are not thought of as uncorrolated. You can check the ET P&L thread to observe the limits of edge trading singly or in combo's. As we work into this further, I will add biofeedback using an attachment to the ear to be able to pick up the sympathetic and unsympathetic fourrier waveforms that are way above, in sophistication of the sweat and pulse level trite work of LO (MIT and IB's). All his work is sympathetic and he ommitted, by ignorance the parallel work of others. After that I will go into the 0 --2 levels in the brain and we will double the available 0 --2 compared to CW edge trading 0--2 limitations. Bootcamp is not only a skills and knowledge deep effort, it is a phsyiologic bootcamp as well. What is achievable is a mind-- body-- heart triad that is invincable. The CW mentality is vertical and emotionally frought with fear--anxiety--and anger. All of these are sympathetic emotional symptoms of fight or flight. SCT as an algorithm and applications is parasympathetic and it simply eliminates the emotions of the CW edge type PA trading that drive people up the wall. The key orientation in SCT is the WMCN and the IBGS which is done at a place in trading time that is in the very near future relative to the Present where all A's take place on trading platforms. All trading is done in NOW and the last A of MADA is knwn in advance of NOW since all of MADA at advanced skill levels is done BEFORE NOW. CW deals in betting and reaction. Both are risky and operate in the sympathetic realm, the only place where LO (MIT) did sweat and pulse tests. we will monitor both simultaneously and show the % ratios of each and how to do the shift from the sympathetic to the parasympathetic will being monitored and while trading. A similar application of this is for driving. Road rage can be eliminated while driving through neuroplasticity shifts. Boot camp is a neuroplasticity shifting project. We have PC's so we will wireup once trading gets underway. You will need a couple of UBS ports.

Hows many bars late are the ones I crossed out? I corrected your symbol errors on these previously. Look at the corrections I made on those two symbols. In boot camp we are building on the 100% accurate foundation. <img src=http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=2127866 width=800>
I misunderstood. I thought that a B2B/R2R might give a 2nd chance to reverse if the 1st one was missed. But that implies that missing the 1st sign for change is a possibility, which it can't be if you know What Must Come Next. The B2B or R2R will come at least one bar late. If it's a wide channel, then it may arrive significantly later as price has further to travel before it can break the RTL. I'm attaching the corrected version.
