A day which presented eleven Intermediate trades, likely spawned a number of iterations and which will require thorough and thoughtful debriefing.
Comments It was foolish, premature and presumptive to consider progressing to Advanced Intermediate when the prior step was far from mastered. As Jack says, it needs to be 'free-flowing and automatic', and Trust is a vital component in the attainment of the requisite knowledge, confidence and skill. A recent - and sobering - realization was that it was not the market I couldn't trust... it was myself! Amongst the myriad translations, inventions, erroneous AHAs and the beguiling comments of learning students I was no longer sure whether I could trust my awareness or my instincts given that they may have been founded on a flimsy foundation. Intermediate needs to bring us one step closer to seeing and extracting the offer, where 7-15 reversals approaches the ballpark. This requires recognition of the trading fractal and it's immediate environs. So we have tapes, sub-fractal/faster-fractal traverses, which are constructed from two tapes, traverses, which (depending on their duration) are constructed from either tapes or faster fractal traverses, and channels, which are formed by two traverses. This is the colour and line-thickness schema I have adopted:
