Seeing the market far less clearly today.

While the stitches, automated gaussians and peak volume are nice, I'm sorely missing Pepe's channels tool and the relative range and volume information. What's more, the interface still feels clunky and clouded. I wonder if the solution is to use the PACE values from TN, utilize the STR/SQU, and otherwise keep it for PVT while returning to NT for SCT duties...

(P.S. The whey/maltodextrin/caffeine concoction didn't actually taste all that bad...)

  3. Hey Neo,

Thought I'd drop in and say hi. You sound like my brother-in-law with your AM nostrum except he would use green tea and of course a healthy dollop of chlorophyll, thereby giving the whole brew a yummy green coloration.

Yeh with the fixes for Pepe's channel tools it is nice, but the TN setup is pretty speedy too. A personal preference thing but it is good to have the two of them, if only for a data feed backup indication. I use a compressed NT "Chart Trader" to trade, with the control center right beside it. BTW, I like your mini charting palette.

Thought we might have a had a BO in motion (13:35) but it stopped with that reverse pennant. Now there's an IBV/IRV doublet but it's inside the LM so still waiting. Oh -maybe this is it.

Green tea's great, except it won't supply 500+ calories or the synergy that facilitates rapid assimilation.

I agree that a hybrid trading platform may be the way to go. Volume levels are the same as my NT feed so the PACE values are auto-updated and readily transferable, and the STR/SQU can be pulled up alongside my NT charts. Not to mention all of the PVT uses.

    Awaiting the next surge...

(P.S. Finding it easiest to just draw coarse gaussians. I see the finer ones superimposed on top)

  6. Sorry. The old communication thing. I implied but should have said to use the green tea and chlorophyll in lieu of the caffeine. Ah yes synergy - a favorite word/concept of the natural products people (my b-i-n sells the stuff).

I spent 15 years looking at Gaussians, in one form or another, and can mentally construct/deconstruct them with facility. What I'm working on now is generating a quick, clean picture of Gaussians in the Price, Volume, Sentiment cycles (1:2:4) with the starting point as the 4 pane Channel Jokari. Mr. Black did some of this stuff a little while back. So like: 1 channel P cycle has 2 channel V cycles which in turn have 2 channel S cycles per channel V cycle.

    The Day

Some abominable charting today. No logging. No MADA (just M). On the phone to TN support a few times to address real-time datafeed issues.

Very disappointing, especially so soon after discovering what the market really is.
