    Update

When I stepped on the scales and noticed that over the past few weeks I'd lost 15 pounds - none of which was 'excess baggage' or intentionally shed - I realized I've been neglecting to eat while observing the market. I calculated that my daily caloric intake had dropped to about 1300 calories on those days.

This would also explain, in part, the mental sluggishness that seems to strike at around bar 50 - hypoglycaemia mixed with drift-engendered complacency.

It's important that I address this, so here's my provisional plan (bearing in mind that I've reset my body-clock to GMT -4). Complex carbs for breakfast, pre-market meal-replacement shake (whey protein and blended oats, roughtly 1:1), another meal-replacement shake towards the end of drift (whey protein and maltodextrin, with a dash of caffeine to counteract the insulin spike), and then after close, a hearty meal as the celebration of a day well spent.

I've neglected several other important things over the past few weeks, partly due to this, and partly a succession of minor ailments. This included exercise, and as a result, my resting heart rate is up by about 8%. This will also need to be addressed.

I've worked out how to do the Advanced Intermediate drills. It just involves splitting the exercises into two distinct sets, one run through with just the addition of printed stretch-squeeze charts, and another with the addition of a selective DOM replay. I intend to annotate a fresh set of ES and YM prints, which will help to clarify the boundaries between sub-fractal traverses, sub-sub-fractal traverses, and narrow tapes. As of tomorrow, I also intend to substitute TradeNavigator for Ninjatrader.

p.s. Just noticed that I mistakenly read 13 points as 73 points in the above log. Will post an amended semi-log chart which will incorporate the correction.

False alarm. While there was an error in the log, the chart was based on the correct point totals.

    Neuroplasticity

Earlier this year, I'd toyed with the idea of going into healthcare consultancy. I'd heard that McKinsey had a rigorous interview process, so as a supplement to case theory, I joined Lumosity to 'oil the cogs'.

They've just introduced some more brain games and are running a promotion, so thought I'd give them another try...

    Journeys

Last Summer, I was on a youth development project in Borneo. I was medic and mentor on a journey that took us to the mountain peak, the ocean floor, and right into Conrad’s heart of darkness. Ten days through the rainforest was an unforgettable experience. Deep in, the trees changed. They came to life. We were surrounded by the mystical white bamboo. House of Flying Daggers. It spoke to us. For the last leg of the journey, our guides kept their distance. They didn’t want to diminish our wide-eyed wonder, the personal discoveries. The rendezvous was a happy time.

    Revelations

The thing about AHAs is they don't let you sleep!

    Flaw is a patent misnomer.

An internal is a traverse in microcosm.

IBGS and spike bars represent cycling from Jokari cell 1 to 2 to 3 at a higher rep rate.

In fact, everything comes down to the 2:1 frequency ratio lissajous pattern. The modern-day double helix.

I need alphanumeric designations, to more accurately portray the visible spectrum of sequence velocity:
    • Intermediate trendlines - level 4
    • Channel - level 3
    • Traverse - level 2
    • Sub-fractal traverse - level 1b
    • Sub-sub-fractal traverse - level 1a
    • Tape - level 1
Aside from hypoglycaemia, and drift complacency, my sole other source of uncertainty comes of falling out of sync. I want to operate on 1b and YM lets me see the sequences within the sequences. I feel the heartbeat. But at times, I'm inexorably drawn into 1a. I have no tools here to let me magnify the sequences. Being on the wrong side in the transition from the third 1a of a 1b movement can be a jarring experience. I trust that S/S will be the saving grace.

My most startling and capricious revelation will need a much more thoroughly considered exposition.

    You are a slave...

Like everyone else you were born into bondage, born into a prison that you cannot smell or taste or touch. A prison for your mind....

Unfortunately, no one can be told what the Market is. You have to see it for yourself. This is your last chance. After this there is no turning back. You take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes...

Remember, all I'm offering is the truth, nothing more...

    Follow me...
