Mark, How much do you pay for your Bloomberg terminal? Do you use Dax or forex for your news trading?
Hi, What's the packages name for bloomberg and reuters and how much those services cost, may be a link better? How does thompson service compare with regard to the speed of news feed? Also I read that orc and TT are joining to give more access to worldwide market, does this mean in future every broker who use X-trader will have trading access to all int. market that orc offers? Also can you feed stock quotes into X-trader and trade them?
Hi Frege, I notice you've re-open a few very old threads recently. Since these are old threads and you have specific questions to someone that posted something a year or more ago... May be best to send them a direct pm or email to get their attention about something they said over a year ago. To help answer your Bloomberg question... http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=51296 It may be a little cheaper depending upon if your with someone that gets a special deal. The only people that can trade the news is as Mark from Velocity said, those that get it from the wires and those that can trade on the info first. The fellas in the pit....anyone else is gonna be reacting to the early traders reactions from the actual news. There is even a service to "Trade The news" how lame can that be?..... In closing, some news, reports etc are not dependent upon the actual news, number, etc within the report per say ....BUT what were the actual numbers relative to what the mkt was expecting and relative to how the mkt players were positioned relative to those expectations.
