rcanfiel, why do you need everything spoon fed to you? Its like you need everyone and their mother to tell you the water is ok before you jump in the pool. TA works, but you have to understand HOW it works. This is on a person to person basis. TA wont work consistently in the classical sense for obvious reasons but different combinations of different aspects of TA all rolled together with real market experience is where its at.
Spoon fed? Like, since TA indicators don't work, you can combine them, so they don't work en masse? There is little evidence they work, over many years under different markets. But this can be ignored, since people think differently? I am sorry, but anger, indignation, insults, appeals to belief or Guru Guy X, etc. that have mostly come in response in this thread have not been particularly convincing.
