    SUCCESS is counted sweetest
    By those who ne’er succeed.
    To comprehend a nectar
    Requires sorest need.

    Can tell the definition,
    So clear, of victory,

    As he, defeated, dying,
    On whose forbidden ear 10
    The distant strains of triumph
    Break, agonized and clear.

  3. No one posted "upper limits" Jack - only examples were given. You continuously struggle to read and comprehend posts. Is this how you trade?

You may feel free to "exceed" our requirements, but you seem more like someone trying to weasel away from the spotlight.

  4. Great. Go back to the ProfLogic threads that were included earlier in my post. That should tell you what many ETers thought about ProfLogic's inability to trade.

    THAT is the distinction.

  6. Well, I proposed a trading challenge to ProfLogic (Yes Jack, if you cleaned your glasses, it was me, not the "Prof")

    ProfLogic accepted.

    I proposed terms.

    ProfLogic has disappeared, apparently.

Past comments about his previous claims:

bali_survivor: he was supposed to be starting a trading contest right here on ET but that has been cancelled

vhehn: good luck on that one. the prof is a little hard to pin down. i suspect he likes it that way.

downtickboy: Yea check the other ET thread as linked to above where he claimed he was going to trade for 20 days and post his results after having a drawn out disagreement with marketsurfer on the idea of trends. Prof was the one pushing for this trading contest/exercise and calling marketsurfer out only to back out of it himself after he was the one who set the time fram and start date.

benyls: I dont think professor logic will deliver what he has promised. There is tons of excuses and debate going on over there. Well it is always not easy to post statement, but what is ironical is nobody force him and he himself set the date and he himself mention he will post the statement. I was thinking of joining his class with 2 of my friend but now I will think thrice.

So to find out what to think about somebody you check on what "ET ers think about him"? Is that how you arrive at your trading methods?

This, again, fits perfectly. It amazes me often how people behave congruent with type. Consensus instead of research.
Now let me pose you a question: what do you think "many ET ers" think about somebody who had a vendor website -Futures-systems.com- complete with a tragic-comical trading record, then- when confronted with the silliness of it all- claimed this was just a TRIAL balloon (the REAL trading records will be on the future website, right?) but STILL has not shown ability?

So why don't you indulge me- even if many ET ers might think that you are full of it- and let me do it my way (I research) by showing me the track records of your REAL trading systems. You know, the ones with the great returns?

As you said yourself, 'nothing easier than that, just post it on Collective 2"?

On second thought, this is getting boring... and going in circles. Unless you post a really witty or even a relative honest reply, you are going on ignore...

  10. in an effort to keep this thread on topic and away from surf, proflogic, JH flames-- allow me to propose some esoteric questions:

    Q. why has TA become the method of choice for most retail traders?

    A. what could be easier other than simply guessing?

    Q. FX dealers give away sophisticated TA software suites--- some even have pro TA people making calls and posting signals for their clients to trade with.

    A. NOW, we all KNOW that FXdealers trade against the clients---the only advantage to providing TA tools to the clients ( the enemy ) would be to deceive --- does this makes sense?

    Q. Obviously and objectively, in any group of TA people, some see buy signals where others see sell signals in any and every chart movement--otherwise the market would be TA people V everyone else and this isnt the case.

    A. TA is purely subjective and those who try to make it objective are doing little more than placing rules on guesses--fooling themselves that its the TA thats 'working' at times.
