I just developed a theory. Smurf would like all ET'ers to abandon all their trading methodology so they will follow and hang on his every word in his journal(s).

A kinda of massive ego/Pied Piper kind of thingy.

  2. I was never offered any testable format of your program. Only invites to woodie like tradeathons, magic shows and cult meetings.

Is Resenberg a price Physics student or purchaser of price sentinel?

Deceit and misdirection are a primary tenant of the market, be cautious if taking any claims or statements by gurus at face value. Only the naive do this.

The market is a chaotic jungle designed to lure you in and take your money. It's not an orderly nice place like you want to believe. Your first step toward success is realizing this fact then proceeding rather than forcing order and creatingfalse dichotomies.

  3. Not at all. Simply trying to keep noobs from going down the TA rabbit hole to a wasted life. Trying to teach what my years in this business have made clear-- no alternative motives.

  5. Just to clarify---

I don't believe any objective fixed system TA will produce better results than can be expected from random entries over a 6 month plus time frame. The price physics traders claim differently but I am still waiting for their evidence or any evidence from anyone.

Supposedly, I will see the program work starting in September now. I highly doubt it, but stranger things have happened.

  6. Guys, marketsurfer's only purpose here is to increase page views for this website and to shill for a select sponsor.

He has been repeatedly asked questions he ignores, he constantly changes the direction of the topic to start arguments and makes snide remarks to try to make his point. He previous journal was net negative when it was shut down and his new journal is net negative now.

Yes, surf posts his "picks" and if you look at their consistency they are what is called "spaghetti" trades. Basically he throws them up against the wall to see what sticks. Some win and some loose but there is no consistency to his winning picks.

He is a self admitted failed day trader and a failed TA trader so he has a grudge against anyone that can use and trade TA successfully.

He has been repeatedly given the opportunity to test my system but has refused each and every time. He could have spent time in the ES Journal thread learning from some of the consistently profitable traders there but that wouldn't generate page views. He could have simply asked any of the admittedly consistent TA traders on this site to show him and I know more than a few that would have accommodating him. Why hasn't he done that? This is a question you can easily answer yourself.

  7. No you were offered a testable format to trade . . . you declined. I said you had to make a personal appearance to get it and that scared the shit out of you and you refused to show up. Your persoanl comment was that you were afraid someone would hurt you. What A joke that someone would risk ANYTHING over you. You just

What about reading a plain English sentence is alien to you? I'll repost what I wrote so someone can interpret it for you.

"July 2011 - FUTURES MAGAZINE COVER - Mark Rosenberg seems like a decent example of of objective "Trend Following" TA and the algorithms he created. Those algorithms have worked for over 40 years. In his fund he has had only 2 losing years out of the last 25.

[b/Definitely not what I do but I think it is one good example of what is possible.[/b]

What is naive is listening to the drivel you post just to increase page views on this site. It is no wonder ET has lost it's standing at the best trading forum site on the net.

  10. As you can tell, these TA wonks and stealth vendors will stop at nothing to spread the religion. This includes changing posts and other forms of subtefuge. Regardless, not one shred of evidence has been provided other than outlier survivor claims in a magazine and continued blusterly proclamations. In the mean time, those of us who truly understand markets and how they work will continue to quietly profit while the vendors will push dubious methods and twist everything since its all they know how to do.

Just ask yourself, if these methods really work, why do they spend so much time defending them? Not to mention, selling them to the gulliable public?

I guess we need to wait untill september now for any evidence, but it is likely that it will never happen.
