Guys that volunteer for the fire department are brave. Surf . . . is something entirely different but not brave. Oh, Ron . . . check out your email in a bit. New Crude report.
Prof, I had a dog when I was child, his name was Gemini. He was a K-9 My best friend had a Chiwawa. This dog would run up to Gemini and yap and bark, and Gemini would turn his head to the side like, WTF? Gemini did not know whether to just step on him or bite him in half, so he would just kinda stare at him. Surf and his anti-TA rants are like this to me. I respect Surf as a man, but as Hayek would say, he has a fatal conceit. Let's see if he acknowledges Sentinel, and it's results.
talk to a fool as long as you will,he will be of the same opinion still...the fact is TA works,if used correctly.. a hammer if used correctly will drive a nail, incorrectly it will smash your thumb,if your thumbnail is black,it means the hammer is crap..the fact is you believe its crap, belief doesn't mean true ,it means belief...never met a carpenter who hasn't experienced a smashed thumb several times, but they all use hammers

Well, I am giving the TA folks plenty of time to demonstrate that objective TA works. Still nothing at all but a few proclamations of past success and chart postings that could be interpreted as correct regardless of market action. If it's objective thus programable it's easily tested--- I'm still waiting.
The price sentinel was slated to be released in 2010 per the website. I'm still waiting for it, but like the perpetual motion machine invention, I am certain I will be waiting quite awhile longer.....Despite assurances to the contrary. Of course I'll recognize it's results if it actually works but this is highly unlikely. In the meantime, if you want to see a real quant based stock picking engine check out "the machine" by my old research firm. Let the dreamers and paper traders continue to promise miracles while real traders and researchers are putting their work on the line daily in the real markets.
