  1. Looking at the sheet -- quick question -- how to tell what expiry month of CL is being traded? I see only a price, "78.38" or whatever, for each transaction. Thanks.

Random entry only "works" when coupled with a high-quality exit as well as good money management. And it NEVER beats the buy-and-hold. You've been told this many times yet you keep coming back with the same old BS time after time after time, like a broken record. You repeatedly post this debunked crap. What exactly is your agenda here, surf?

  5. never is a big word--

Just trying to have folks see the truth. You can keep on believing all you wish, but fact remains Objective TA fails as an effective short term trading tool. I have seen the tests on the worlds largest data bases, it is what it is. Sorry to puncture the Grail--there are highly effective edges buT objective t TA isn't one of them for day trading. It's a dead end path suitable only for vendors and guru followers trapped in hindsight bias.

Because you've personally tested every possible objective-TA-based strategy there is, right? :D Or are you hoping to goad somebody into just handing you their successful objective TA strategy, just to shut you up?

Tell you what. You PROVE that objective TA doesn't work under any circumstances and I'll become one of your greatest praisers. But I hope you have something better than Aronson's myopic approach to the problem.

Hey surf, what's your opinion of Maverick74? He seems to be down with the <a href="http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=3201680&highlight=ACD#post3201680">ACD method</a>. Based solely on time and historical price.

Now, I know you now how to get on your knees when it's proper, and Mav's the type you'd never actually disagree with. So, it's probably about time you give up the religion and pay obeisance.

  9. Of course he has! No one would make such bold statements about what is or isn't possible unless they tested every single possible combination of ways to view and trade the market....duh! :D

Actually Mav owes me a favor for access granted a couple of years ago :D

I'll look over the thread and comment later.
