  1. RIDICULOUS!

On second thought, this elaborate "staging" to demonstrate something reminds me of the criss angel show in Vegas or the time I witnessed David Blaine floating above central park's ice rink.

Let's eliminate all potential for deception. Have your friend simply start a journal on elite or post on the Surf Report part 2 real time, before the fact calls on the ES or another widely followed instrument. Do this for 45 days and Keep track of the results. No need for the 100 market smoke screen nonsense. Is he up for it?

  2. Totally wrong. The map is not the territory. Just like a chart is not the market. A chart only illustrates what has happened and is perfect for the ppose of explaining how the market moved, not what to do next. Hindsight bias is an addiction and a crutch.

  3. The same could be said of any methodology. If this is the standard for saying something is BS every single trading system known to mankind is BS and you should only use low-cost index funds and never sell them.

  4. So you are saying that someone sitting in front of you could simultaneously fake profitably trading 100 charts, in real time with a real broker's account throughout the day, and then you audit the trading account, correct?

He was really surprised when you initially accepted. He also said you weren't too bright. With your post I have a tendency now to agree with him. Anyone that thinks "that" live performance could be faked needs committed.

He'll agree with your request in part. He won't post them in your thread or on this site to build up page views but will post the trades in a widely accepted market in real time on Tweeter so it can be watched by more than those on this site. How knows, the way things are going you might get banned again by September. This way when you say the results aren't real, there will be many many people that will see for themselves they are.

He's up for the challenge but I doubt you are.

    Enjoy your Summer.

  5. LOL! Ok, complicating a simple process makes it less likely for chicanery-- whatever you say.

With this said, I'll be happy to accept the real time twitter calls as being suitable as long as they are prior to the fact, are not hedged, are not presented in a confusing or other way designed to obfuscate the actual call. And finalyy calls must be directional. I look forward to the further details. Surf.

  6. Marketsurfer, why not just admit that TA works well for some and doesn't work well or at all for others?

  7. They won't be hedged, will be executed in real time, will be stated as either a buy, sell, exit (i.e. Buy Lt. Sw. Crude now at market [9:08 am EST]) & will be posted to twitter immediately upon execution (exactly how you post your trades). He said the software sends an alert to twitter within 1 second of trade execution so you will get the twitter alert very quickly unless you are using a Blackberry. He said he would try to find a 5th grader to write the twitter alerts to be programmed so as long as you are smarter than a 5th grader you shouldn't have a problem with the content of the message.

I'm beginning to see where he gets his opinion of you.

  8. TA doesnt work because daytrading is a zero-sum game. You make money when TA is in your favor and not in somebody elses favor. Aka TA cannot work.

  9. Your parents need a refund from the doctor that dropped you on your head as a baby.

Who would name themselves a failure but a failure.

  10. You're not trying hard enough, otherwise you would have found an application of TA that works most of the time.
