  3. axe,

i've been a gamer for as long as i can remember. i've had:

    colecovision
    atari 2600
    nintendo
    gameboy
    turbo grafx-16
    super nintendo
    nintendo 64
    gamecube
    playstation 2
and i've been playing PC games since my first real computer, which was a 386SX/33.

now i mostly play PC games. i used to play command & conquer: red alert 2: yuri's revenge a lot. that's one of my favorite games ever, but it's old now so i don't play it anymore. i used to play it online all the time and i beat rank #2 in the world. i was THE MAN in that game.

right now i play medal of honor: allied assault. THIS GAME IS SO GOOD, TRUST ME. if you like battlefield 1942, try this game! so good! there are also 2 expansion packs for it, spearhead and breakthough. i have them both. i also play halo for pc, which just came out. i'm also playing freedom fighters right now.

THE NEXT GAME TO GET IS "HALF-LIFE 2"...TRUST ME!!! it's not out yet, though.

i got to www.gamespot.com all the time to read about games. it's a great site.

Everyone in this game is a real life opponent on the network.

64 player battles are common. Tons of maps.
    Simply incredible technology.

  6. I started with the original black and white PONG in the arcade :D

My first computer was the original BLACK Apple 1.

But I gave up gaming a while ago. Got boring.

But the new generation of multiplayer networked simulation
games have pulled me back in.

HALF-LIFE is what got me started.

But Battlefield is the ultimate in multiplayer gaming
which is the only thing im interested in anymore.

GameSpy gave it Multiplayer game of the year.

You can control 35 different vehicles in it. Its insane!
You can drive the sub around....battleships...fly all the planes..
lots of weapons. Everything is extremly well simulated.
    Just unreal.

Medal of Honor looks pretty damn cool though.
    Hope HalfLife II is good.

These games are so damn good now, I wouldn't get
bored playing the same one for the next several YEARS! Sheesh...

  9. Dude... in 25 years, these games will be SO good that going
to a movie would be moronic.

You could just event your very own, perfectly real life looking,
action flick every single night, when you log on to one of
    these action games :D

    It's really getting ridiculous.

It's better than cartoon quality now. Soon, it simply will
look so close to a "filmed" movie, it won't matter.

Makes me wish I was born later in life :D

There is one negative effect I can think of though.

You think our kids don't get enough excercise NOW, just wait :D

Those HalfLife II shots are insane. :)
