We all know the black vote is a racist vote. It's being promoted by the Democrats without regard to the racist element as they are color blind when it comes to their own racism but paint with a broad brush when attacking the right when little racism actually exists in that group.

  2. Southern Strategy, what's that?:D Here's the point I'm trying to make, and have tried in other threads. Everyone says they want to have a "conversation" about race, but it never happens. It really never happens with white public officials. It's the ultimate third rail for them. Black politicians don't really want to have a converstaion, they want to lecture us on the matter. In the end we never really have a conversation, and the reason we never even get started is because no one has the balls to admit race matters. In a perfect world it shouldn't, but it ain't a perfect world. So let's all just admit race is a factor. Then maybe we can ask, why is it racist for a white person to call for a unified voting block, the southern strategy, but the NAACP calling for a united black voting block is not racist? One of many ugly questions that must be addressed.

The differential treatment is a result of our history, and the ongoing differential in socioeconomic status. Even Romney admits we have not yet achieved equality of opportunity.

Its not only the NAACP, its Obama himself. This is from HIS website.

What happened to the post-racial America that Obama was supposed to usher in?

  6. Oh Brother… Democrats Rename “Bank of America Stadium” for DNC Convention

The Obama 2012 Campaign sent out this email recently inviting Democrats to the DNC Convention in Charlotte at “Panthers Stadium.”

This email may have surprised their host city since there is no Panthers Stadium. There never was a Panthers Stadium.

The DNC Convention will be held at Bank of America stadium… But Democrats currently have a war against the rich, business owners, doctors, white men, stay at home moms, bankers so they switched the stadium name to Panthers.

It’s one of the drawbacks to running a campaign based on the politics of division.

    The Politico reported, via JWF:

National Democrats have repeatedly touted their stand against taking corporate money for their convention in September, and so it was striking to see two emails from the DNC host committee referring to the Charlotte venue where President Obama will speak as “Panthers Stadium.”

It’s the place where the Panthers play, but it’s actually called Bank of America stadium.

A recent email from the host committee signed by former Al Gore campaign manager Donna Brazile urged people to win a trip to Charlotte for the event, which will wrap “Thursday night at Panthers Stadium with President Obama.”

Another email in June made the same pitch about the stadium.

A host committee spokeswoman didn’t respond to an email. But it’s not like the stadium was ever called Panthers Stadium – first opened in 1996, it was Carolinas Stadium, and later Ericsson Stadium. Then the current corporate iteration.

I am sick and tired of hearing people using some injustice that occurred 200 years ago as a reason to act like a complete animal today. Using some injustice that you did not witness or experience is not an excuse to look for a hand out.

Jim Crow ended much more recently, and though the two subsequent generations are working to catch up, so are the generations that started out ahead also working. Thus, the differential persists. It's not an excuse for bad behavior, but such differentials always and everywhere lead to trouble, but particularly if they are perceived to be unfair, i.e. illegitimate.
