Teaching your children how to trade

I don't have an issue with different opinions, and it's one that many will find reasonable if we're talking about "young" children. Maybe I agree. Strictly speaking though, the OP didn't say "young" (as far as I can tell) so his children could be of university age or in their 20s..

My point concerned derailing the thread with the 14+ posts following your initial post. After all, your view is crystal clear, it runs counter to the thread topic, so what else is there to discuss? The OP obviously disagrees with your point of view, that's why he started the thread. Why do you need 14+ more posts to antagonize the OP? I'm sure he understood your point of view.

You've made your point, myself likewise, so from my side so there's no need to discuss further, otherwise I'm also guilty of derailing. No need to put you on ignore either.

  2. That's the first signal that we are dealing with a stealth vendor. WIll likely be banned soon

Wonder why he just doesn't post them here on the site?

  3. I agree that it is dangerous for you:
    1. you blew up a fund that worked according your "killings" but it only killed itself.
    2. as daytrading appears to be more difficult you better stay out of it. Learn first to walk before you want to run. Or even better: only walk, know your limits.
    3. like father like son: if the son has the same "qualifications" as the father it is indeed not a good idea to teach him, althought he appears to be a genious, at least that's what you think.
    4. children older than 20 are no children anymore, at least if you give them an education to become an adult.
    5. At 22 I already had my own business and made more money than my father's business. Zuckerberg was 20 when he started Facebook, Bill Gates was 20 when he started Microsoft (signing, together with Allen an agreement with the producers of Altair).
    6. I understand that is frustrating that at your age you have no real achievements you realized, but that does not mean that everybody else has that problem.

This thread gets better and better. First we learn nobody's system makes 10mil/year in 1 day/week. Now it appears his entrepreneurial skills are on par with Gates and Zuckerberg. Who is this guy?

  5. Yeah, would be good if PM page displayed a banner warning noobs about the feature's use by stealth snakeoilers.

  6. Paranoia all around. Psychiatric clinic will even not help anymore.
Marketsurfer posting in all threads, on numerous websites..... Why all this effort? $$$$$$$$$$

But now he gets nervous because his only source of income is in threat.
Typical for crooks: make false suggestions like "PM for free chat room". Show me one PM where I proposed anything at all.
Everybody knows about you selling paid subscription and other stuff. Show me one thing that I ever offered for sale.
He will again ignore what is embarrassing, or might expose him as a crook, in this post.
The best defense of a crook is to make suggestions or accusations without any proof for other ET members, trying to take the attention away from his own criminal behavior.

I will soon be banned? You got already in trouble, you were already banned. If I would be banned I wouldn't care. I don't need ET at all, but you need ET to generate an income.
You were not able to make a living as a lawyer, and now you are even not able to make a living as a trader.
I send in past PM to one of the most respected traders on ET with over 40 years of experience and a staff that trades for him. Not smart from me if I want to sell him something.

  7. Agree, I will suggest that feature to Baron. I think a warning should pop up next to stealth vendors that warns others of their true intentions.

I have also noticed a preponderance of third world forexers working this site via language translation software. They may have alternative motives also--

Your being ridiculous here Surf. IAN is obviously not a vendor. He doesn't have to prove his trading performance if he's not selling anything. Even if you don't believe his performance claims, what right does that give you and your "followers" to hijack the thread with 20 or so posts that run counter to the thread topic?

Is this supposed to be a trading forum or a pissing contest?
Baron, didn't you say that you were going to add a button that gives the OP the right to block trolls such as marketsurfer?

marketsurfer, I'm done. I am giving up looking any further because the level of impropriety likely exceeds my initial observation of a conflict of interest. I think Pekelo is wrong but it didn't take much theorizing to get past his error and formulate a plausible model which is truly tragic and fits the red flags I've observed along the way. I sincerely hope I am wrong about you.

  10. I have added tremendous value to this site since 2002 and have been repaid many times for this value ad. Why do you say "troll" when someone disagrees with you?

There is no hijacking of any thread by myself. This is not a TA cult whose members sit around mentally masterbating but never making any money--- this is the real world of finance and trading--- if you can't handle it . may i suggest another forum?
