That is not what libertarians believe. They want liberty not because "everything will work itself out". They want liberty because they rather live in an imperfect world and be free then live in a perfect world and not be free.
By voting issues, not party. It ain't that hard. And you are the one saying I call EVERY conservative a racist. That is what you hear, because that is how you think. I was taught young not to use always, never, all or none. I cannot control what you interpret, I can only suggest you try to improve.
The last few posts, interesting. Going from Libertarian to Socialism, and then going from big government to socialism, although in earlier posts. Which is it? Is Ron Paul a socialist or a small government guy. Seems like some of you got a bit confused, or at least it reads that way. c
Free to do what, is the actual question. Being free to openly discriminate is not on the table, and never will be again.
Free to do anything that does not infringe on the liberty of others. I find it funny that a black man who is a descendant of slaves would choose to be a slave of the government. RCG, you can't be a "little free". You either are free or not.
Might read that post again, Mr. Maverick. A 'perfect world' where they are not free? Hardly perfect. I get your point, however, my Libertarian friends certainly have specific ideas about government being small and only used for certain purposes. And, don't hate me for noticing this, you seem to use the word 'then' when you mean 'than' - not a big deal, considering all the abuses of the language we see here. But, since you are one of the top guys here, I thought I would just offer this up. c
That's the problem, libertarians do not really know. They simply want to be "free". Free to do what, what freedoms do you they want that they do not already have?
