Though Ameritrade has direct routing options, while Scottrade and mony other retail brokers do not, Ameritrade is not listed in this site but Scottrade is. One of the reasons could be that this site does not want to deal with too many Ameritrade users. After all, Ameritrade has about 7 million accounts. Their account holders are mostly investors.
Hmm well this gets me thinking: I have had a TD account since I started in the market about 1 year and a half ago, and have recently moved into options and more towards trading. So, I pay $9.99 to buy, and then $9.99 again to sell both options and stocks, with a .75 per contract extra fee for options. Should I ditch this for another site? Any suggestions?
