Read it...didn't answer my question, maybe you can define what "making" means in tax lingo: I suspect that based on the page 5 stuff about tax brackets that "making" refers to taxable income and not AGI but he never actually says that anywhere that I can find.
Yea, and today, it is lower to 50k. Good argument. I am voting against Obama based on your sound argument..
The point is he can say whatever he wants now. The math does not compute! Ending the Iraq war a couple years earlier and increasing taxes on the top couple % of tax payers doesn't equal free healthcare and $1,000 checks to 45% of tax payers that pay no taxes.
By the way, I can promise that if I were elected that I would hand out million dollar checks to each and every person in the US and provide them with free healthcare, free housing and free education, all without increasing taxes, inflation and our national debt. Do you think that I could actually do all that?
Hrm.... don't hold me for it. The same place that mentioned $250,000 under capital gain tax also refer to reference vii. reference vii is a history of income tax rate and they all refer to taxable income. http://www.ctj.org/pdf/regcg.pdf 94% for taxable income in 1944-45....
Here's a fun possibility: [1] Obama gets elected [2] Several incompetent bumbling hate groups attempt to have him assassinated [3] The intelligence community lets one succeed [4] Martial law
First, if you don't believe everything he is saying right now, and for some reason, you believe everything from McCain. Vote McCain now. If you believe what he is saying, then you have to read what he is pushing. He is pushing. He is pushing the health care load to insurance companies and employers to offer "affordable health care plan" Obviously, he is leaving room for himself by saying affordable. Affordable can mean anything. $1 is affordable. 30% of your paycheck can be affordable too. The only hard number is : you suppose to get health care cost down by $2500 per year. I don't know where you got the free health care from.
