It seems to me that Donald Trump is quite a good business-person. He parlayed a modest amount of seed money into a global real estate empire. He pays millions of dollars in taxes when one considers his personal income and the LLCs and S-corporations he owns. I have found him to be brutally honest. I have found you to be brutally stupid and dishonest. You aren't changing anyone's vote here that is certain.
A big nothingburger. Again. Libtards swing and miss. Again. Crimes committed by the NYT. Massive projection. $750 taxes paid. A lie. A talking point that’s a lie. Libs just don’t know when to quit. LOSERS
Clearly you did not read the NYT article. Nuff said. And you've only listened to the Liar in Chief's version of his biography and alleged wealth. Brilliant.
I don't agree that he is an inept businessman. He is a wealthy individual who built several successful businesses and made it to the President of the United States. All of that can't be dumb luck. I agree the man is a habitual liar. But many politicians are. I don't think Biden is an honest individual. Hillary certainly wasn't,
I agree on your analysis of the man's business abilities. I also agree that he can be brutally honest. But he has lied about so many more things than I can count. He's actually - literally - said he did not say something when someone points him to a video of him or tweet of him saying precisely that. Not to mention the many flip flops. Again, many people who run for and get to be President are megalomaniacs. So this shouldn't be surprising. But he is in a class all his own.
TDS lol ? That isn't even a term in Canada. We don't care about all the partisan bs you guys obsess about every day. Trump is a narcissistic clown. Period. There is nothing redeeming about the man. Maybe you admire him. The multi-bankruptcy, multi-divorces, hating on ethnic groups, womanizing of the worst kind, attempts to bully people, nonstop dishonesty, ... doesn't play well in Canada. We see it for what it is. Maybe this is what some Americans like you admire in a man, an obsession with money and stepping on people to get it. So you got him congrats on that and all the side effects that come with the package.
I think the evidence is that he's a bad to mediocre business man who inherited a lot of money and pursued shady sources for financing when his whole "empire" went belly up. There are many, many people who managed to be successful without multiple bankruptcies and shady loans. I suppose on some level he's successful much like you might say a mob boss is successful. Kept the family business going by stepping on people and skirting the law as needed, taking maximum advantage of US bankruptcy law. There are studies that show that psychopaths can end up either wildly successful in business or alternatively committing to a life of crime. An obsession to self, no empathy for others, and a ton of energy to make it happen can lead to extreme "successes" in whatever they pursue in life. They don't make good political leaders though; it is obvious that given the freedom to do so Trump would go the fascist route, end all elections and be leader for life.
My comment was in reference to your all encompassing summary of our federal spending and how its all Trump's fault. What I miss here?
The mob boss is a good comparison. With the obvious and very important difference being the breaking of the law. But same mentality.
