I do not want to get into the middle of this....but personally, because of the multiple alias issue here at ET, this has caused me to go into "not so serious" mode when posting here. This is the first time I have complained about this publicly and have been reluctant to do so, as I do not have a solution. Michael B.
Mav and I don't usually agree on everything, but I really do believe that he has a valid point here as far as credibility goes, and adding value to ET. The fact of the matter is that the numerous aliases ruin ET, and make it a near useless website. I am only able to gain any value on ET from the Hardware and Software sites. Other than that, it is pure entertainment where the James Stocks' of the world can come online, pound their chest, and tell everyone how HUGE they are. Seriously, do you think that daytrading 500 shares of TASR, or 1,000 shares of TASR for that matter is gonna make a difference in the % performance of a large, quantitative hedge-fund that commits huge amounts of capital to trading models? I don't think so. As a result, Mav smells something "fishy" and I don't blame him!
Another 290 points close to the opening this AM. .... Thats probably about it for tasr today. A lot of fun trading this issue over the last week during slow times. Hope all of you made a few extra bucks on this one ....
Hey CalTrader, James Stock was looking for you at the Derby last night. He brought a suitcase with all the cash he made on those SP calls. He said you never showed. What gives?
Wow dude, that's pretty cool. You took 2 pts out of a stock with probably no more then 5k shares. Let's see you take 10 ticks on 1000 T-Notes. Fat chance of that happening.
You might wish to learn something about the English language and the definition of SATIRE . . . Mav was simply making fun of Caltrader's bragging about making all this money trading TASR. The "tell-tale" sign was when Mav was +$780,000 at one point but got sloppy . . . and gave back a WHOLE $400.00 to finish up $779,600 for the day. Duh.
