Well then I guess I should send kudos to James Stock too. I found his posts very informative how he pulled 40k out in one trade and 60k or so on another one selling naked S&P calls. Maybe you and James Stock trade with the same firm.

Step up to the plate then .... What do you have to offer ?

Everyone reading this is waiting for your advice.

  3. I think that what Maverick is pointing out is that you used the word instructional without providing any methodology whatsoever, aside from bragging about winning trades.

Perhaps next time you might wish to choose your words with much more care.

Dude, check out my posts. I have about 300 to 500 or so posts over the past two years in the options forums that one could call educational. I HAVE stepped up to the plate.

My only comments on TASR is that stock is about as close to casino gambling as we have in the market and I find it funny how you think persuading anyone to trade that stock is informative.

Aren't you suppose to be some kind of big quant guy out in Cali? Why are you gambling on a high flyer like this when you are trading off your sophisticated computer models?

  5. Cal, you just make post after post saying "another XX points in XX minutes", and you think you are being instructional or showing newbies what can be done? You sound like the same people who are selling BS services.

Any one of us can start a thread posting garbage like that. And, it will be a thread full of...garbage. And, all of our credibility will be in question just like yours is now.

  6. When Maverick and I are in 100% agreement on anything you can bet your life we are right. :)

This whole thread is a laugh riot. Thanks to CalTrader.

I'm one of those "new traders" myself. In the brief approximately 18 years I've been trading full time, this is the very first time I ever heard a penny called a "point"....too funny!!! What was a "point" when stocks traded in fractions? (Obviously far too long ago to be included in CalTrader's extensive experience).

Waggie too hit this right on the head. A useless boast.

    "INSTRUCTIONAL"????? Too funny!!! A classic!!!

BTW, I am pretty sure this is the very first time I ever knocked a "trading" post. I always just ignore the really dumb ones. But this really takes the all time prize! I really couldn't resist. I tried. Really! But I just couldn't do it.

    Peace,
    :)RS

Just have to base my opinion on the bulk of posts here ....

Oh well, I guess we will agree to disagree.

As for tasr - it was easy money today and on the day of the negative wall street article. Normally I would not bother with such an issue but when it screams to take money off the table sometimes you just need to do it.

I hope you all made money with it as well.

I'm glad you all were amused. I sure enjoyed it !

    Good luck.
