Traffic in Panama does suck and it is only getting worse. Was a haven to live 10 years ago with cost/taxes/ability to live well on U.S. type income. Now it has become a haven for Colombians, Venezuelans and Dominicans coming in by the thousands. Obviously nothing wrong with my fellow latinos but the influx has lead to way too many people for the infrastructure and a change in the culture and the city is not the same. Buildings are going up everywhere and at least half of them are for money laundering. Sad... Also plenty of good looking women... .
Yes, news from the US are particularly puzzling since Trump was elected, i can't recall a president and the local mainstream media so strongly at odds. Interpretations are wild and very political in US news. in China it is very much the contrary, as the political power dictates the news. Both ways easily get frustrating. Thanks for your feedback Slartibartfast, interesting to hear from expats in Colombia. As of below, visiting villages outside Bogota, it felt not only european but completely spanish, at least architecturewise, a big plus for me, especially that the landscapes around Bogota are also amazing, if not very spanish. Looking forward to travel again to Colombia, will make sure to visit Medellin if in the country.
will the last person to leave Puerto Rico please turn off the lights? scratch that remark. because of governmental incompetency at every level the lights are already out.
American construction somehow never learn the lesson of the three little pigs. Flimsy yet expensive, an American tradition.

Recently, many points have been closed in China that manufactured low-quality and fake goods, which means that soon China will reach a new level.
