That's a nice goal but the US consumer will have to pay the price. How do you account for a labor force that will cost 5 times more. Lets not forget about red tape and regulations that are quite different.
The unfair treatment narrative makes the USA look not very bright. The USA was mostly in charge and making the decisions and concessions were made. It's a bit hypocritical to say "we have been robbed, ripped off, treated unfairly..." just because not everything went as intended. Even when money was showered around, it was not out of philanthropy.
