I believe you might be the 3rd person to agree.

    Every fool thinks otherwise.

Why is this a surprise? An iphone costing over 2 grand would fuck up the US. Duh.

It was pretty accurate last weekend.

Given Friday closed up 350 points on no major tariff news.

And a 700 point move is about 50% of last weeks daily ATR, we could easily open up +700 as this market is indicating. Assuming no other counter news comes out on Sunday.

Why? Do people really need a new phone? I don't. For what? An 18 trillion megapixel camera? The one I have is more than adequate and then some. It's a phone. Apples growth is in its cloud business. Storing all that stuff. And even that is questionable. But to say it would f/u the U.S., why? They make phones, and offer secure storage for whatever is on those phones. That's pretty much all there is to it. The only way you might be right is if it crashes more and brings down everyones retirement accounts.

The powerful President Putin used to turn on and off the LNG valve every few days.
Hence there were tons of trading opportunities for the NG traders.

Similarly the powerful President Trump can increase/decrease/edit/amend/delay/append
    the tariff every few hours/days.

I am sure Apple's Tim Cook didn't expect this sudden change.

    Next change, please.

In a few hours time, the market will open.
And it will surely gap up.
