The Pentagon informed Nevada's Nellis Air Force Base that a previously approved drag show slated to take place on the base on the first day of Pride Month could not take place because it was not in line with Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s recent comments, according to two defense officials.

The drag performance would have been held at the Officer's Club at southern Nevada's Nellis Air Force Base on Thursday, June 1, and had been approved by base commanders, just as it had been over the previous two years.

Base legal officers and commanders had determined that the event was in line with DOD policy and no department funding would be used for the event, according to the official who spoke to ABC News.

The decision on hosting such shows is typically left in the hands of local commanders who follow guidance from military attorneys, but Nellis officials were told earlier his week by the Defense Department that Thursday's event was not consistent with Austin's recent comments to Congress and that it should be canceled or relocated off base, a defense official told ABC News.

"Consistent with Secretary Austin's congressional testimony, the Air Force will not host drag events at its installations or facilities," said Ann Stefanek, a U.S. Air Force spokesperson. "Commanders have been directed to either cancel or relocate these events to an off-base location."

The military can now blame it on those UNISEX uniforms that they've been wearing since 2013.

    :D

Seriously, look at it below...it's so disgusting pride blue.

I'm not going to show an image of the exercise shorts they have to wear during morning PT...you can not determine if the shorts are male or female. They all look the same.

I need to be cautious of ET reading audience considering a moderator once said their are children here at Elitetrader.com (not joking)

I think I'm going to vomit although I've never knew about Unisex uniforms until recently because of this thread that made me curious about what's going on in the real world.

They just need to boycott one of them and damage the stock price, like the UAW used to pick a target automaker every year. The lessons will be learned.

I think the below chart is a fair comparison considering you're equaling a boycott of an automaker about cars built in Mexico, maybe a strike about healthcare or maybe another strike about the labor dispute.

I'm not exactly sure which strike of the automakers you're comparing to a boycott of stores selling LGBTQ merchandise.

By the way, considering someone mention Walmart in this thread...they sure did learn their lesson but I will let you pull up a chart of one of those targeted automakers.

Here's an image of Walmart stock price back in 2014 when there was a nationwide strike in most major cities of America. Looks like a well-executed plan to drive down the prices to buy it back cheaper and then run it back up although the same issues remain the same that resulted in a strike.

Trumpets are going to boycott Rolls Royce next, how will they survive the drop in sales? Trumpets have them right where they want them. 100 percent boycott.
