Tape Reading Book?

  1. Is there any books on tape reading, ive been struggling to find one. Looking to get some insight before starting my new job.

    Cheers

  2. studies in tape reading by Richard D. Wyckoff

  3. i sorta mean in the modern day sense of watching the ladder and scalping. I presume there isnt much literature on the subject... Flipper type stuff

  4. Google "Day Trader's Bible" and you should be able to download a free PDF of Wycoff's book for some more weekend reading.
It was written in early 1900's but the principles still apply.
    Amazing how that works.

  5. Actually, it won't be.

I know the main poster, Maverick, and he'll be the first to tell you that the things he discusses rarely work anymore (he states this toward the very end of this 80+ page thread), as will most the people who saw the Hybrid phased in.

  6. Tape reading is history, nowadays the tape prints so fast that it is impossible for a human to keep up with every print & the specialist no longer dominates the stock, so there's no one to read...

Having that in mind, wyckof's books and maverick's thread are a great read, for historical/educational purposes.

  7. ill have a look on www.4shared.com

that site would have saved me about $1k in not buying books this year alone
