OK, I give up on trying to post the stupid chart from Tuesday. I’ve got enough trouble trying to put up with Gio. The stupid broad is driving me crazy. I know that Woodie’s room is free, but I'd gladly pay fifty bucks a month to shut her up.

Anyway, I took the HFE (Hook from extremes) shortly after the market opened, and got slammed with a 15 point loss in the YM (e-mini Dow futures). I got some of it back when I went long again a few minutes later. In the meantime, I’ve put away almost a full can of Planter’s Cocktail Peanuts, half a pack of smokes, and 3 cups of coffee. Plus my throat hurts from screaming “shut up” at Gio.

Right now the stupid broad is engaged in a pissing contest with a room member who is typing his question in caps – meanwhile she failed to call a short that could have had me back in the black. So they threw the offending member out of the room, and now they are talking about how awful it is to “shout” your questions. (Boy, these folks run a tight ship!)

Well, the morning’s shot. I’m going to run out for some more cigarettes and a bag of chips. More later.

...since you've already said "hello" to me here, why do you want to say "hello" to me there?

Why not PM Mister Subliminal - both of you seem to have a lot of time on your hands...

You know, there’s something to be said for trading without price charts. It’s much more relaxing, less stressful. I know that some of you think it’s crazy, but don’t knock it until you’ve tried it.

I know, I know – I can hear the questions now: How do you know how much profit you have? How do you know when to cut your losses? Well, I don’t know about you, but I have a telephone right next to me, and the fine folks at IB (my broker) call me when my margin runs out. So that takes care of the “when to take a loss” problem. The “how much profit” question, well, it hasn’t come up, since I haven’t had any yet.

And also the most humorous on trading satire. Makes me wonder if Tampa is related to Al Franken.

tampa, you crack me up. good luck in your latest venture. the current moderator in woodies room is also driving me nuts. here is a copy of something i posted in a different thread, but got zero response. as a member of woodies room, i thought you might get a kick out it maybe.

    Esignal use in Woodies Room
This morning, I heard a moderator praising the use of Esignal vs other data feeds. From what I understand, this moderator is the on who contacted Esignal and arranged a "discount" for members of the room of $50 for two months for those who sign up through the room. Also, ever since this moderator began this campaign, all other moderators began using Esignal.

I understand there is a motto of "No Soliciting" in the room. However, as a self proclaimed entrepreneur since his youth, I find it hard to believe that this moderator is not being compensated in some way for this mass exodus toward using Esignal in the room. Also, I would be willing to guess that all those who show Esignal charts consistently in the room as moderators are most likely being waived the monthly fee.

I have openly asked the moderator who "struck this deal" with Esignal a few times in the room about this, but my question always seems to be overlooked. In the interest of the "Absolutely No Solicitation" motto, I would like this issue to be addressed. If in fact these individuals are getting compensated (through waived monthly fees or some sort of commission) then I think the "absolutely No Solicitation" motto should include an asterisk (*) with the subnote, "except for Esignal."
