Shane, Shane, errrrr, i mean Tampa, Tampa... don't go, come back. We'll get them moderators, especially that Magna feller.

(Hey Magna, yep, I'm still alive and kicking. Did some self realization stuff, resolved some issues, and am ready to come back on a simulator for a few months before using real money. Still doing short intraday trends, but now very specific, ie... looking for 2 and 4 points respectively, trading 2 contracts, and entering on the retracements of the intraday trends, after knowing which way the trend is going <g>. Much of what I tried to do in my journal, unsuccessfully at best. Now I have a system, imagine that!!! Nice to hear from you again.)

Hey Tampa, what do you suggest we do. That Inandlong fella is really starting alot of "crap" on these boards. Maybe we should petition Baron, and have him take away moderators salaries and 401k's.

Just a thought. I'm not too active on this board, so I'll leave the leg work to you. Stand up for your rights. I'm right behind you (way behind you).

    Your good friend,

ps - Stay away from that adult stuff, you'll go blind.

Now that you are no longer using LBR's Short Skirt, should you not be petitioning Magna for a change of the thread title?

Perhaps something like "Tampa's Got Himself a Woodie".

I have no further need of Woodie's services - why follow a man who lives in the desert, but thinks that he sees whales jumping around on his charts?

And to be honest, I can no longer tolerate that damn kid playing his guitar accompanied by his trombone playing girl friend!

There will be better gurus down the road. I guarantee it!

Is it possible? Can it really be that short skirts will soon be back in fashion?

Perhaps I was too quick to abandon the time tested pattern (encouraged by the low life Mister Subliminal). So I will be taking a new look at the method that inspired this journal, as well as dusting off the photograph of my idol, Ms. LBR.

If nothing else, I have learned self-discipline, and developed the ability to stay focused since the early days of this chronicle. Granted, there have been a few momentary sidetrips along the way, but I feel confident in my decision, and look forward to returning to my roots.

    More as the situation warrants.

    Journals Outnumber Members!

It can now be reported that the number of daily Journals on Elite Trader exceeds the number of registered users.

It seems like only yesterday that ET’s membership roles passed the until then unthinkable number of 18,000, but a recent census of current journals has surpassed that number by at least 500, perhaps even more.

Veteran board members are at a loss to explain the phenomenon. Not since the days of 40yotrader has interest in the once sleepy section been so high. Some say that it is proof that the market bull has returned. Others say it’s just proof that bull is still alive and well on this message board.

As for the discrepancy in the number of registered users, and the number of journals posted, there is no official explanation. The section’s moderator, Magna, was unavailable for comment. Sources tell the the skirt that the well respected keeper of order and decorum has been overwhelmed combing the many threads looking for posts to delete, and firing off threatening PM’s to the less experienced journal keepers who have yet to learn how to “skirt” his tough rules and regulations.
