if you use stop log and use stop value 3 valley back, you are still long, believe it or not. Did I do it, not ... but interesting technique tho.
Let's just say I'll be sleeping on the couch tonight...and she'll probably feed my dinner to the cats... Tried to be "cute", avoided everything I've learned to this point (like no volume, no trade), and lost 1 3/4 points in seven round turns.
Fruity-Baby...if and when you reach my level of honesty and my ability to hold an audience, then perhaps you will have room to "critique" me - until then, I stand by my earlier assessment of you.
dawg made 3 trades for -.5, performance percentage wise, you are on the same pace as him, the real diff is he talk, you don't wanna.
It's hard to talk on an empty stomach, with a bowl of cat food sitting in front of you - not to mention a night of sleeping on a couch.
Tampa, I am in Tampa and am having success with the sp e-minis. I was one of Protraders biggest traders and would like to talk with you about he system i am using now.
rhinotrader your tag line or whatever its called got me literally laughing out loud by myself even though it is late and the rest of my family is asleep. I wish I had written that in my high school yearbook. It is so funny because I was just about to say a fool and his money... just a great juxtaposition.
Tampa I used to trade using a similar system on the e-minis i was basically looking for breakout patterns on 1 min chart after PM e.g. rising flags double tops etc etc, Once the breakout had occurred i would set my initial stop 0.75 below the breakout level but i would be looking for a 2 point target. I would definitely find it hard trading with a risk to reward 1/1 (3 point profit - 3 point loss). There was to much discretion involved so i made my system as mechanical as possible this has helped. Anyway good luck friend.
Look, it was a tough day for trading "Rockets", and I lost another 1 3/4 points today. Well you know who threw a hissy-fit. She started screaming and hollering, cursing and spitting, and then she grabbed my cable modem, and hid it! So I'm posting tonight on an old 300 baud modem I found out in the shed. I'm not sure, but it could slow things down a bit tomorrow.
