Best wishes on your cat's recovery, tampa.

Six months ago I lost my faithful trading companion -- a retired racing Greyhound. I was very sad.

Dear Sir or Madam or Other

I feel impelled to write and draw your attention to the apparent tabloidization of your august newspaper which has up to now been an honorable and traditionally high level broadsheet. I am dismayed however to read an article today which was obviously and deliberately directed towards the sympathy for dumb animals angle, so common these days when previously erudite and intellectual papers are dumbed down for the common person or trader, as these types are sometimes known. What's next? Page 3 feline hooters of the day?

I have also noticed a tendency toward poor speling and grammer creeping in. Please refrain from these inclinations and please adhere to the expression of good English like what I do and me peers.

I hope you will return to your previously excellent standards.

    Yours faithfully
    Mr Angry
    from St Pete's

ps I hope the kitty gets better quickly (please don't print this part, thank you)

12:43 Sold @ 1108 ½ It was too obvious to pass up.
    01:37 Covered @ 1096 ½ for +12 points.

01:58 MY instincts tell me that there is one more good push down to come, but my head (heart) just ain’t in it. With the recovery from this morning’s debacle, I will probably call it a day.

    4 R/T +4 points on the day.

Clearly the Street was not pleased with the news of the AL QUAEDA CAMEL WASH designed to raise money for still more dastardly deeds – of course readers of this Journal had sufficient warning to profit from the downdraft. Other so called advisories waste their time, and your money looking in all the wrong places for heads up information that can make money for their readers – we go to The Weekly World News because we know that the movers and shakers are influenced by the outstanding reporting to be found in America’s premiere publication.

Unfortunately, our own trading was not as profitable as it could have been due to the oversight involving that little report that came out at 10 o’clock this morning. So what do you want from me – blood? I managed to recover the losses, and than some. I don't want to take shots at other Journals (actually I do, but Magna the Magnificent would just delete them) , but I think it can safely be said that you learn things here that are simply not available anywhere else.

Right after lunch today I will be conducting an on line seminar detailing the tampa technique – by far the most astonishing trading method yet discovered. I am pleased to announce that it is SOLD OUT.

The response has been overwhelming, with most of Wall Street’s top traders signing up for this once in a lifetime event. Therefor, I would expect trading to virtually come to a halt when the seminar begins later today.

Traders unable to attend are advised to enter the market at their own risk due to the expected poor liquidity.

10:53 A series of bad ticks has rendered my charts for the NQ all but useless this morning. But a good trader does not allow such things to deter him. I am switching to the fast paced Frozen Kangaroo Bellies market on the Australian Exchange for the remainder of the session.

It's a wild market - it hops all over the place.
