Gurus Galore! An epidemic of journal-fever broke out today in Journalville. One dared not look away from the screen for fear of yet another new entrant. ET members, both old and new, expressed delight at this new development. One member in particular seemed most pleased. Old Trader fired up his trusty Apple II+, in anticipation that his valued advice would once again be needed. However, a few veteran Eters murmured with raised eyebrows, pointing out that November can often be a difficult month to trade because of the Thanks Giving holiday, and the accompanying low volume/choppy action it brings. With the arrival of Journalvilleâs newest inhabitants, a long time member noted that perhaps it was time for the town to open itâs own Subway sandwich shop. In a nearby dingy candlelit garret, one could barely make out the silhouette of someone frantically charting Journalvilleâs ups and downs, with appropriate trend lines, and gap reversals carefully drawn in.. One observer said that he was not positive, but that the mystery analyst bore a resemblance to ETâs margo trader who it is thought cannot resist charting anything that can be graphed. More details as they develop.
A number of things have changed since last I reported any and all trades. For one, I have become profitable - not a lot, but... My entries have improved dramatically,, but so has my discipline in not entering - i.e. waiting for true confirmation. That has made trading for the past two days all but impossible. Obviously, I am not pleased that no signals have come my way, but I am thrilled that no losses have shown up on the P/L.

Mob Grows Restless! An unruly mob of angry ET members have gathered at this hour outside of 40yotraderâs journal, demanding that the elusive poster present himself. Carrying pitchforks and torches, the disgruntled crowd has increased in size ever since the market closed on Friday, expecting word on how the popular journal keeper did on his first day of trading. Long-time ET moderator Magna courageously tried to hold the mob at bay, but was pelted with Subway sandwiches, as the angry protesters shouted: âMaybe your mother-in-law was right all along!â.
...so well in fact that I have also taken the liberty of adding your name to my mailing list, and have increased the monthly rental to $925.00...
I'm a fully paid subscriber to tampa's chatroom and, believe it or not, I'm one happy camper. Sure the prices are a little steep, but I've learnt the hard way that good things don't come cheap. Hey, why take my word for it, judge for yourselves - take a look at a typical excerpt from Friday morning's session : [tampa][10:56]> zzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzz [tampa][10:56]> zzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzz [tampa][10:56]> zzzzzz mmmmmmm errrrrr.....
