First Quart now tampax. Are they aware of something the rest of us aren't ?

It's getting spookey 'cause even the public address announcer on the Titanic didn't let on when he declared over the ship's tannoy " ......just to inform you that we are experiencing a few minor technical problems. Don't be alarmed if you don't hear from me for a little while, I have a few other things to see to "

    THE SKIRT’S ON AGAIN

In a stunning reversal, tampa announced that it was all just a misunderstanding, and that the widely read journal would resume. It seems that other unspecified matters occupied the popular poster on Friday, taking him away from his two loves – posting and trading.

To add to the turmoil, the loveable aphie announced his departure from journaling, saying: “screw the journal”. No further details are available at this time.

Veteran ETers were left shaking their heads at the two unexpected turn of events. (Though one was seen gigling to the point of wetting himself – this reporter was unable to determine the exact cause of his myrrh,)

    HE’S BACK!

Yet another stunning event in a day of stunning events. The lovable aphie, who only earlier this day was quoted as saying: “Screw this journal”, announced to his throng of followers that he had reconsidered, and would resume posting.

A premiere trading advisor who has freely dispensed advice to young and old, even if they didn’t want it, aphie became miffed at the number of “I told you so” posts appearing in his journal. Although ET moderators worked feverishly to remove the offending if true posts, our brave young trader saw a number of them, and threw a hissy fit.

But there is another side to this young market wizard that few had seen before – that of the humanitarian. Dispelling rumors that the journal was only serving his ego and unnatural need for attention, aphie said: “It would not be fair to the people who are genuinely interested in my progress as a trader to just stop my journal. Why penalize the good people because of a few rotten apples on ET?”, proving once and for all that this effort is being carried out to serve mankind as a whole.

Veteran Eters agreed that aphie’s return was the most compassionate gesture ever displayed on the venerable traders forum. When the news of his return became public, crowds of supporters, as well as previous detractors openly embraced, many shedding tears – presumably tears of joy.

  4. Hes a kid. All kids are ignorant. Ignorance is not stupidity, its lack of experience. Stupidity is when you dont learn from your mistakes.

    Tragedy Strikes!

The lovable aphie, famous for dispensing his two-cents worth, is reportedly down to his last two cents. Everyone’s favorite on the Elite Traders Forum, is reported to have been trading Kangaroo Belly Futures on the notoriously fast paced overnight Australian Exchange.

    More details as they develop.

    hmmm

so it’s Saturday morning and I’m doing what I almost always do on Saturday mornings – I’m intensely going over the charts. And, as per usual, all kinds of things are jumping out at me, that were not there in real time.

    (So what else is new?)

I am not a big fan of indicators, you know the kind – MACD, RSI, etc, - I once was, but not any more. A moving average or two, and that’s fine –it’s all I need or want.

(I’ve become a real “back to basics” kind of guy)

Well anyway, I use this little known charting software package called “TradeProspector”. In terms of the more common bells and whistles, it has few. It’s a support and resistance thing, lite on the everyday run of the mill things found elsewhere.

So earlier this week they put out an upgrade – they’re forever doing that – and low and behold, they add Keltner Channels to the package. As you may know, she is big time into Keltner – reportedly uses nothing else(!). So of course I throw them up on the screen for a look.

Good golly Miss Molly! (or should I say, Linda?) They be lookin’ kinda interestin’. Maybe the chick is really on to something.

This seems to be worth looking at. Yes, yes indeed.

(A word of caution here. I can’t think of a weekend where I have not stumbled upon the Holy Grail, only to be brought back down to earth on Monday)

So, that’s what’s going on in Tampa with tampa. With luck the new Keltner Channels will bring me much wealth, and with more luck the $#%^%$#@&^%Bucs will lose big time to Philly. God how I hate that team.

  10. i just noticed this post now. i'm down, but not out. i have to say, although it really sucks for me, i don't consider it to be unfair as long as someone took my money playing by the rules. the best man won and it was not me. i feel bad for no one, and no one should feel bad for me. every trade i make is an attempt to take someone else's money. so if a smarter person takes mine instead, i can't complain. however, the insider trading/martha stewart stuff needs to be taken seriously. send her to jail to send a message. as it is right now, the risk/reward is probably in your favor to not play by the rules (if you can).

anyway, i did lose way more than i thought i would, but i still have plan B. i can sell my car and get like $20k + what i have left. however, i'm not going to trade again til i have a written plan that i've tested. no more fooling around for me. i don't care if the money sits in the bank for years. i want to have some money available when i do figure this out.

so yeah, it sucks for me, but i can't sit here and pout.
