Tampa, I am glad I don't start any journal, you are a brave man indeed, keep your chin up and soldier on, cheer.

I can live with everyone looking over my shoulder - so what. But knowing that SHE is getting reports - now that's a little un-nerving...

  4. Tampa your funny..........

Linda is not getting a report on you, I noticed you had a problem with your work & I talked to her & told her I will thow in a hand to help you find your way, she said fine, was a 2-3 min conversation.

BUT........... do not make any excuses for not trading, or executing, NO WAY you will get away with that , we could always find an excuse to not take action, forget it & make money !! you could do it , just focus & find your way, nobody should stand in anybodys way of success, try the ideas I gave you & apply on paper for a few days & see if they help you.......

Tampa, you have to determine your own game & whats best for you, what where you successful trading prior to the scalp setup that your trying to do now ?

...oh. So I sit here suffering, agonizing, and sweating, and she would let me slowly twist in the wind - I get it.

(and after all I've done for her - well, I would have done something if she had asked)

So she doesn't want any reports. Fine, good, OK.

(maybe she has a weak stomach)

You asked what I had been doing. Simple scalps on various continuation patterns off a one minute chart. No big deal - just going for a point or less. The short skirt caught my eye because it was similar to what I had been doing anyway. Just with a greater profit potential.

After going over your earlier post, and doing some thinking, I now see what you were saying. And of course, I am very applicative of your help.

(...no reports at all, huh...can't say as I blame her. I mean, I'm sure that she's busy and stuff. But no reports.)

  6. you betcha. i hear tampa's caused a bit of riot amongst UK spread betting firms on his daily performances ... apparently the brits really dig tampa's self-deprecating humor too..

i also told my roommate about tampa's journals, and now they're are favorite first stop for the entire teaching staff at Vega's Silverado high...

I don’t want to apply extra pressure on tampa but I’ve been asked to translate his journal into French and Croatian.

...well, that's nice (I guess). So my misery is a big hit at the local High School.

By any chance, would you know if the staff at Bright Trading are logging in?

    ...well, isn't that special (sigh).

(now if I can just figure out how to "translate" the damn thing into a few measly profits)

And I thought that the French disliked Americans. All I was trying to do was improve my trading, and now I find that I am contributing to world harmony!

Inspired by all the nice advice and helpful tips, I spent much of last night making major revisions to my trading plan.

First and foremost, I changed the background color on my charts - this may be just the edge I need!

Secondly, as a tribute to LBR (I don't care what C-Wiz says, I know that she is hanging on my every move), I have added Keltner Bands. Even before the market opens, I can tell you that they are very attractive, and a fine addition to my tool chest.

    So let the action begin!
