  2. I have to laugh at people portraying Woodie as a cunning mercenary. I dont believe it for a second. I cant stand to listen to him for very long and when they get going on some tearjerker in the room I have to leave but there are a few good traders in the room and I am still picking up ideas. Some of the moderators are making calls, entries and exits real time. How difficult could it be to watch and see if they are making money or bsing. The room is free and the hotcomm trial is free. Check it out and decide for yourself. On a forum the pros and cons duke it out endlessly but nothing is ever decided.

Maybe this CCI stuff is the best method ever - maybe not - but there are a few things to think about before casting your lot with Woodie.

I don’t want to beat a dead horse, but I was scouting around for some dirt, and took a look at the CCI National Conference – or at least that’s what it’s called. Anyway, it seems to be bundled with the Wealth Expo – a collection of snake oil salesman – and yet it is implied that the Wooden One has been “invited” to speak – that’s bullcrap. Unless he is the only one, all “exhibitors” pay, and pay dearly to be there.

Why would a guy who runs a free chat room be paying to attract still more members, and where is the money coming from?

Of course it’s none of my business, but…

And it apparently it’s not the first time.

    Something’s wrong – seriously wrong.

I would suggest that you ask Woodie to explain, but we all know what would happen to you – you’d be accused of “disrupting” the room, and shown the door – they might even try to trash your blog.

I don't know - it's just something to kick around...

    Tampa,

It's been Woodies dream to have a pay room for years. In fact he tried it once, but seems there were not enough takers (even his mother wasn't interested) so he gave up the idea.

Look at the demographics. Millions of baby boomers about to enter their maximum earning years and then retirement. Millions more with early retirement in mind. Most with comfortable retirement nest eggs (and real estate profits) anxious to earn more than a 4% CD will pay. The ideal environment to fish for new wannabe traders, with the lure of doubling their nest egg each year.

Now is the time to get in the bottom floor of the best business opportunity of a lifetime: Selling trading advice to the aging baby boomers. And it's more fun than investing in retirement communities and assisted living companies - the other baby boomer pot of gold.

Everything Woodie has been doing for the last couple years has aimed at increasing his room size. Numbers, he's obsessed with his room numbers. He even has someone keeping track of all the logins each day, totaling them up to give an even larger number (over 1100/day now woodie claims).

And like any company who's main goal is marketing themselves to increase their customer base, the self-image is all important. No inside or outside questioning or probing is welcomed - infidels and whistleblowers will be punished, as you have found out.

I fully expect Woodie will move to a pay room when his regular attendence hits 1000 real-time. And he will lure in the faithful with promises to give a portion of their monthly dues to MAW, but without ever revealing the actual percentage. And keep the initial entry fee low - $100/month - dirt cheap. Why you can make that on a single woodie ZLR scalp trade in one day. Hmmm, well in that case, make that $200/month. Still a bargain compared to all those "thieves, scumballs, and schisters" giving out "how to trade" advice in the other pay rooms, according to woodie.

Now lets get down to the business plan. Retention rate.
Given Woodies ability to sell ice cubes to Eskimos, expect about a 50% retention rate after his room goes paid. Now this is an interesting business: 500 x $200 x 12 = $1,200,000 / year income, and it's risk free.

Of course there are the business expenses: moderator salaries, travel expenses for woodie and staff, woodies luxury suite at all events, woodies salary, gio's dog's salary (why do you think he let's gio's dog call the short trades?), TonyUK's worldwide flights and expenses to all events, and the minor expense, relative to income, of reserving a conference room at 3 and 4 star hotels around the world.

But then add in the income from six TAL's/year, plus a National Conference always tied in with highly commercial "Wealth Expos", the annual WCCI Carribean cruise, the WCCI Alaskan cruise, and the WCCI Worldwide cruise, and that's easily another $600,000 income. Now you know why Woodie incorporated his club. It should soon be woodiesCCIclub, Ltd., as the Cayman Islands provide some "tax advantages".

Yes, Tampa, you may have just stumbled onto something here. I suggest you grovel your way back to woodies corporation while there's still time, as the new coordinator of chatroom humor, before he gives that spot to Biggs. You can get advice on grovelling from Samson.

And just imagine, no more worrying about when the next ZLR on the 5 min YM will come around, and whether it will be the 1 out of 3 ZLR trades that will not get stopped out. There's no question, this beats the heck out of trading - just ask Woodie.

...let's assume that what Shamu says is true - and this is directed ONLY at Woodie's supporters - how much a month is the room worth?

It's a serious question - Samson, can we start with you?

I have given up on this thread and ET in general because of its obvious bias and censorship against anything pro woodie especially coming from me.

    BUT

Since you asked, I will tell you this.

Personally; I hope woodie does go to a pay format!

Because the amount of crap the man takes from morons that haven't got a clue and need someone to blame for their lack of hard work is ridicules.

So why not just charge and be done with it?

If he was my Father, I would tell him to do just that and MANY of his friends have but woodie has held firm through the years to his commitment to serious traders seeking his help understanding the cci as a tool.

Even if woodie where to charge for his room, I personally believe he would give the profits all to MAW.

He is just that kind of man!

I know they misery mongers will attack this post because they just don't get it and NEVER will but then again the Americans were stupid enough to re-elect a war criminal again, so the stupidity that slightly over half the Nation has these days doesn't surprise me anymore.

ET is just a reflection of just how lost the country has become and how screwed up peoples values and morals are these days in America.

She is but just a glimmer of her once mighty, powerful and regal self and it is a shame because it is a sign that her rule as the most moral and just nation in the world is coming to an end.

woodie to me is a throw back to what was once good and right with the country.

I would say that $750,000 per year would not be unreasonable.

btw, If he were my Father I would tell him to take it and move to Australia..... :p

Doesn't samson just epitomise the typical woodie follower - unintelligent, unable to think for himself and gullible.

Anyone who can fall for the fake sentimentality and accept that all profits go to make a wish whilst it is obvious that no accounts will ever be published to prove that they don't.

Samson I hope that you soon become a profitable trader but I would advise that this state of affairs will occur sooner if you start to think for yourself.

Thanks for the advise but since you don't know I have been retired for 14 years since the age of 27 and trading has given me a very steady long term income.

I am not some new kid on the block with some slight execution edge that will disappear when market conditions change.

Enough said cause Magna will edit this out any way because he doesn't like to see me have any credibility.

Sam, just some food for thought...

What if your "friends" in the room voted for - as you put it - a war criminal?

Do you think that you would still be welcome if/when they find out what you said?

samson don't be silly - magna doesn't need to do anything to reduce your credibility, you are doing that very nicely yourself.

And also, john bollinger invented bollinger bands - Woodie didn't invent cci. Many traders were using cci successfully long before Woodie was ever heard of. I know Woodie wants to claim it for himself but there again that is just the behaviour of any charlatan.
