Holy Cow! angela (Gio Lite) has stepped forward to defend the âbossâ On top of that, she apparently is insulting some of my fine readers by suggesting that they canât read â but offering to enroll them in literacy training programs. Somehow I feel as though Iâve lost control. Somehow I feel as though my former 700+ close personal friends have shown up to drown out my delightfully acerbic wit, and cast me in to the scrap heap of oblivion.
Samson77, Thanks for your response. Despite your tantrum and the sermonizing about the saintly nature of Woodie, my question remains unanswered. It is a very simple question: "Does Woodie take kickbacks from his vendors in exchange for promoting their products?" Whether he gets it in cash or free services is really not the issue here. A very simple "YES" or "NO" answer is all that is being asked for. I agree with DblArrow that it is no big deal if Woodie has a commercial 'arrangement' with his vendors. However, IMO, he needs to adequately disclose this info to his members. In my mind, the jury is still out on Woodie, CCI and his motives. However, he definitely does not exhibit good judgement in letting loose cannons like you hang around his room.
Forrest, Don't forget that whilst the room is promoted as being 'free', Woodie also states how beneficial, if not essential, his trade-a-longs are for newbies. At $300 a head and 400 attendees, 5 times a year this amounts to considerable cash - $600,000 a year if my maths is correct. Now ask yourself again whether the room is free. Woodie states that all net profits goes to MakeaWish. Does anyone know who the auditor is?
Oh who cares about any of that stuff... The suspense is killing me. There is a 22 point range in the YM as I write this...How many points has Gio bagged? And how many times has she "taken some off the table" so far???
Did you ever trade Live Hogs? (Now theyâre called Lean Hogs â but that seems like an oxymoron.) Anyway, a long time ago I put a trade on in Hogs the week between Christmas and New Yearâs â got my clock cleaned. That trade started a tradition â a tradition of losing Holiday Week trades. It lasted for years â until I finally figured that maybe it wasnât the best time to be fooling around in the market. Of course I still sit here and watch every tick â thatâs because I am an idiot. A gun shy idiot. Iâve made but one trade this week, and Iâm probably finished. The market has tried to teach me many lessons over the years â I have steadfastly managed to ignore all of them, with but one exception â be careful, be VERY careful the week between Christmas and New Yearâs. So Iâm being careful. OK, Iâm being chicken. But I know that somewhere thereâs this guy still slapping his thigh, telling his buddies about the fool on the other side of a hog trade two days after Christmas back in the mid-eighties - I can just see him â overalls, a straw hat, with a bandana around his neck, counting my money. The vision is enough to keep anyone out of the market. But at least I wonât be saying: Oh fudgeâ¦
load up that .38 and point it at your head...NO WAIT, DON't DO THat....i was getting images of christopher walken and robert dinero having a little holiday sport. Dude, you've got a front end for taking sim trades right. Not to be crass but I've taken 24 practice trades since 1:40 CST this morning 14 winners and 10 losers for a total whoomping of down $429 i practicing on the EUR/USD. Good practice for days when the markets a re running a little faster and the only commesiration available is about olemikey.
Blah Blah Blah Whilst all you miserable traders continue to spread your disease, I will still be happy to be making money (My first REAL profitable month in the last 6 of attempting to daytrade again). Thank you woodie, gio, gb007, nicktrader and ALL the rest of the cci gang! This month alone was enough to pay for esignal for the next 2 years... so who cares, who gets what and how. Not to mention I still found time to donate to MAW and that my friends was priceless!
So that's the level of the debate now! And here's me thinking Samson was a successful trader - maybe you are in the right place - newbies heaven. I'll bet you have also been to a tradealong. Did it end with everyone holding candles in the darkness and chanting the mantra?
Samson 77 So your profitable? That's a good deal.I guess the thing to do to get through life is conform, join, support and you can then tell those who haven't followed your path how cheap the price was. Kinda reminds me that a cheap price is only a little worse than poor quality. I don't doubt you may have a had a few challenges alonhg the way, who hasn't. What have you done besides guard the flanks of the herd. Anything/ Trading stones on Tampas Journal shows almost no initiative on your part since it is another's effort. Additonally, since it call to account a few serious misconceptions about Woodies room is is in the prublice interest. What you contribute are you flanks for all to excoriate and to your bleat for the sharp of hearing to avoid.
