One trade this morning - a "Plateau" long in the YM. I took profits of +5, +10, and +11 points on three contracts.

The trade can be seen under "Chart of The Day" at:

...I am such a bad, bad boy.

But it's nice to see that someone got that one...a person has to stop and think about a lot of the crap written here...

Now we know why woodies followers don't get your humor.

Boys and girls, we gotta talk…

We all know that this isn’t a “real” journal in the sense that it chronicles an exact accounting of my day to day trading activity. And it may surprise you to know that I have no idea of the direction it will take from day to day – I just kind of go with the flow.

A little background, if I may.

A couple of weeks ago, I poked fun at one of the moderators in Woodie’s CCI Club on my “blog”. It was relatively harmless, and I didn’t dwell on it. Unfortunately, the individual, known as Gio, is a pompous, humorless woman, and when she found out about the post, she blew a gasket. That, in a round about way, got me thrown out.

I ,of course, have mercilessly carried on about the whole episode because it’s funny – and I know it’s driving the Woodsters nuts.

    OK, that’s the background…

What I didn’t expect was the vehemence, both here, and on my blog where one can post anonymously, towards Woodie, the room, and poor ol’ Gio – MERCY, you folks really got a hard on for that crowd!

Some of it is coming from disgruntled former members, who have been shown the door – that’s understandable. But most of it is coming from CURRENT members!

I, as we all know, am a professional trouble maker. I’ll jump on anyone or anything if I can make the target squirm, and amuse you guys. But here is my question: Why do you frequent a chat room that you hate? Why do you follow a moderator who drives you bananas? What is the whole chat room thing anyway?

I’m just about done sticking a fork in the crew at Woodie’s, and would really like to explore the chord I obviously struck with you guys – will you humor me, and answer some of these questions?

    Tampa,

You are not gonna get any good "fodder" from me, sorry.

I put on my "I love Woodie" hat and listen to the CCI Club all day with rapt attention as I rake in the dollars. I appreciate greatly the help from the members. And I contribute to charities in gratitude for all this help.

Here comes a ZLR and I gotta go trade.

    :D

Reading Sigmund Freud's work can explain that.
    (FYI I'm not a current room member :) )

    Answer:

    1. Misery loves company and,
    2. Losers need to commiserate with one another and,
    3. It's free.

    :) :) :)

(...sound of open hand slapping forehead)

...geesh, for a guy as smart as I am, how could I be so stupid?

So stupid to expect current room members to speak freely.

...duh, that's why my "blog" is full of anonymous comments.

Sometimes I just don't think, you know what I mean?

I wasn't trying to get anyone in trouble, I was just curious. Chat rooms abound - and it seems that many of the people who use them are the VERY ones who bitch about them - the method, the moderators, the way the room is run. I find that curious, and worth exploring. But I am a rebel, probably speak too freely for my own good, and I guess I expect others to do the same.

Oh well, it seemed like a good idea - at the time.

People are basically good, and never has that point been driven home to me then in my exile.

Hundreds of e-mails have flooded my inbox- current and past Club members offering best wishes and comfort. But none more hopeful than the following:

    Deer Cheez.

Dontfeel real aful bad aboutgetting kicked out of the room. Woody kicked meanda lot of utter guysout be for.

We got a groupof kicked out guyswho meat o help each outher over thehard times and talkabouthow bad the VA treats old vets and how Woody shouldnot kick people outalllthe times.
