I don't wish it, I thought you had said so yourself. All the more reason for me to refrain from posting to your thread, as I've obviously misinterpreted something. Actually I wish you the best. Just far away from anyone I care about. Unless this whole thing has been some sort of bizarre misunderstanding, in which case I apologize to everyone for contributing to it. If it's not a misunderstanding though, and you're being as willfully malicious as it appears, then indeed... I wish healing for you, but I could never trust you around those I hold dear. These are my lasts words on the subject, publicly anyway. tampa, if you choose to respond, and I don't keep this going... doesn't mean that you've won anything. You're losing already; I suggest that you sit back and contemplate your motives.
Hey Mark, Sampson, Stop making this a serious thread - if we get into a truth fight then its going to get ugly pretty fast. Tampas approach is humour at its essential best ... edgy, based on some real events but not necessarily constrained by them, and just downright fun. Woodie told me he never reads ET now so it won't have any affect on him unless someone reading it repeats it to him anyway. And the chance of Woodie apologizing to Tampa is no higher than the chance of my feeling an urge to apologize to Woodie for disagreeing with him. Or of my stuff being deleted from eminitraders. So lets not get serious here. Back to the humour. Kiwi PS. Lets never forget that if you can wait for a trade to move 3 ticks in your favour before posting your entry you need never say you are sorry. PPS. And a Merry Xmas to everyone from here in the home of the best index on the planet, the HSI.
Another Open Letter To Woodie: Woodie, I am very disappointed that you have not availed yourself of my offer to accept an apology from you. However, as a gesture befitting the season, I will extend the offer for an additional 24 hours. All you need do is admit that you were wrong, and I was right. This simple admission will settle the matter. As it stands now you appear to be a stubborn old mule in the eyes of the entire trading community. Your actions are also denying the room the spark I provided to an otherwise drab and colorless collection of two-faced backstabers. With your public apology, I continue to offer to return - but not before. I know how important the number of people in the room is to you, so be advised that in the event you fail to comply, I may consider opening my own CCI Club. As it stands now, approximately half of your people visit my web site and blog (www.cciblog.com) daily. I would hate to see your room lose a significant number of member were I to add a chat room to my already popular site. Your continued pig headedness can and will have an adverse effect. But time is running out. I regret that it has come down to this, but the choice is yours - Woodie's CCi Club or Woodie's Lonely Hearts Club - you and 700 members or you and that evil woman from Connecticut, period. Again, I say thank you in advance... P. S. 24 hours, and that's my final offer.
How can I begin to explain the feelings I experienced when I opened the box with the big red bow. I had been eyeing it all week as it sat under the tree. The wife, who normally only grunts and scowls, smiled as she said in a voice Iâve not heard in twenty-three long lonely years: âHere Honey, this is for you.â Honey? Did she really call me Honey? With trembling hands I unwrapped the box, and to my utter surprise and delight, I removed a blind fold, and fur lined handcuffs! Was it possible that the spark that had gone out of our marriage shortly after I began trading was returning? Well my little love muffin, I began, shall we go to the boudoir and try these on for size? My heart was pounding. This was the best Christmas present Iâd ever received. âNo you big jerkâ, she growled, âtheyâre for your office. To blind fold you so you canât see the computer screen, and to handcuff you to the arms of the chair so you canât move. I donât know how else to keep you from wiping out again next year.â With that she pushed the tree over on itâs side, threw the toiled bowl brush Iâd given her only moments before into the fire place, and stormed out of the room. In seconds the flames consumed the gift, but no more rapidly than my short-lived dreams vanished into thin air. Slowly I climbed the steps leading to my office, shut the door, and spent the rest of the holiday adjusting the colors on my charts.
Absolutely The Last Open Letter To Woodie: Woodie, While it is against my better judgement, any number of prominent traders have implored me to extend yet another chance for you to apologize. I have reluctantly agreed. However, I must put a firm deadline of no later then midnight March the 31st, 2005 for full compliance.. In the event you fail to communicate your regret for acting like a simpleton, the window of opportunity will be closed once and for all. When I have the apology , in triplicate, on my desk, I will once again join you and that gang of conniving duplicitous two-faced backstabbers in the room, but not before. The ball is now in your court - don't drop it. Thank you...
Tampa, Love your sense of humour. Why not just start another room i am sure it will be a success. I know Woodie threatens others when they go to other rooms but hey its a free world. In his room many are pissed off with the rules but there is nowhere else on hotcomm to go thats free. Thats the only reason he has 700 in the room not because of cci. He too realised this when he banned private sessions and messages etc. Because most of his room members were doing there own thing with there trading buddies in private sessions. If you started something you would have plenty of takers as long as you allowed private sessions and other ways to trade could be discussed. Also other charting packages like Ensign. Woodie does not like Howard and if you push Ensign in his room you will be banished. Earl (esignal) from arizona has a good deal going. A finders fee foe each new sub. Too bad the newbies didnt realise you dont need a $150 charting package to trade. But hey when you have a salesman as good as Earl pushing Esignal down your throat well thats too bad. Using the excuse that Esignal give donations to make a wish just doesnt cut it. If that was true why doesnt woodie push Sierra at $8 a month or Ensign at $40 a month and then charge each person a one time fee of $50 and then donate it. Make a wish would make alot more than they get now and the poor old newbies would not be spending thousands of dollars a year on a program that is just not needed. Woode keeps telling everyone that cci is all you need. Well any cheap charting package has that. But hey when you have a salesman like Earl breathing down your neck what do you expect. Well Tampa open you room and stop threatening to do it and give most of the good traders in Woodies room a place to go and enjoy freedom of speech, freedom of indicators and freedom of no GIO. Dizzy
Good idea. I wonder if Woodie has any patents on the names he uses for his setups like the "Ghost"? If so, you could just change the names... I doubt if Woodie can patent the "CCI" indicator... Or you could just start a group on Paltalk (which I believe is free) and have it be a talk group starring you Tampa ! And if anyone gets weird just dump 'em off the group. That way you could prevent the "chart dumping" like they have in Woodie's room (Don't you just love it when someone "dumps" his charts across your monitors when you are in a trade?) With Paltalk you can also make it an "invited" group and only have the traders you want in the group if I remember correctly. I believe you have to use a password to have a "closed" group...
You are right about there being few choices out there for someone who just wants company during the day but starting and maintaining a room I would imagine is more of a job than most people would be willing to tackle. Finding a few compatible people to trade with during the day would be great if everybody was on mikes. Trying to type and trade is a pain. . About Woodie I really do think his motives are legit. If he wanted he could make a lot more than kickbacks from esignal and hotcomm from his room. The main problem I have with him is that it makes it sound like trading with CCI is a cinch which, of course, it is not and a lot of new traders are attempting to take these trades and wondering why they are losing money when it is so easy. The suprizing thing is the number of experienced traders who were already profitable who have take up the CCI as their primary trading tool so there must be something to it. I keep the CCI on my charts now for the simple reason that if I see a clear pattern I can be reasonably sure there are going to be a number of people entering at that point. If it coincides with a pattern that Im interested in, so much the better.
Woodie's Room does not "push" Esignal......far from it. If you read the written material they suggest using Sierra and IB which will cost you a big $80 a YEAR. And they just wrote a whole new pile of programs for TradeStation which is what I use. Personally I find that clearer than Esignal. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tampa, If I was you, I would get down on your knees and beg the Kings and Queens of Woodie's CCI chat to take your miserable hide back into the fold......there lies the salvation to your decimated bank accounts and marital bliss. Promise them that you will burn your blog and sit in silence. Promise them anything to get back into the fold. You know you need them........
Well Woodie, as you can see, the trading community is clamoring for me to open my own room - draining your's of all but the embittered conniving duplicitous backstabbing two-face faithful. But before we take the drastic step of turning Woodie's CCI Club in to Woodie's Lonely Hearts Club, I urge the trading community to let Woodie know that you want him to apologize to me. Cut and paste the message below, and e-mail it to: woodie@woodiescciclub.com Hey Woodster, Just do the right thing and publicly apologize to "the big cheese". He will forgive you, and return to the room before it's too late. Signed, A prominent member of the trading community
