Woodie's room is a great place for some junior (and not only) psychiatrist to practice his/her skills and this is the greatest entertainment one can get for $23/month.

If you want to make lumber, there's one important thing that has to happen to timber(e) first. :)

  5. Well so much for my advise on Diplomacy....

Tampa I like you but you are way out of line this time my friend.

You have no respect for the effort and energy it takes to keep that room civilized and you need to understand that if woodie allowed certain things to happen all hell would break loose and all the great efforts would be lost.

Woodie doesn't do this out of his own ego he makes the rules out of necessity to keep the room alive and healthy.

Sorry Tamp but you are the one that needs a reality check on this one my friend.

In my opinion, it takes a bigger man to admit he is wrong and anyone that jokes at another persons expense is not funny it's pathetic and you are way to funny and intellegent for those kinds of low level jokes.

Sam, for your edification, the supposed offensive entry was not posted in that room - nor did I call attention to it. I cannot be responsible for a bunch of yentas getting hysterical, and disrupting the peace and tranquility.

Nor will I react in a diplomatic fashion when a delusional old man attempts to dictate what I think, what I perceive, or what I write on MY website and blog.

Well there may have been a time when Woodie was worthy of respect and deferential treatment, but his recent record of running people off - in particular people who contributed lengthy documents, or complicated software applications, or have lent their good names and reputations to the betterment of his room is at best troubling. I do not fall in to any of these categories, but unlike the people who do, I have the wherewithal to drive him and his nuts.

Your plea for "diplomacy" is badly misdirected - and offensive to me.

  7. Well you will be missed especially by me!

Your humour is brilliant and you always make me laugh and that really helps to take my mind off the riggers of trading.

    :(

  8. I think that you are dead wrong here. For a bunch of chat-room traders that need a guru and are barely profitable (if at all profitable), these people take themselves way too seriously.

Not to mention that it would be certainly irritating if some woman would always talk about her profits, never ever her losses and never ever call an entry! How disengenuous!

To screw kiwi over after everything he did for them shows me that woodie is really all about profit, not altruism. The guy is getting kickbacks from HotComm/eSignal, on top of making money by having seminars.

It's not about altruism, it's about woodie making $, and that's the thing that I find so sickening- hiding his true profit motive behind make-a-wish/altruism/charity.

Samson, you yourself have admitted to being a sucker on many occasions and a less-than-successful trader... yet I hear they let you moderate in there! Any guy that got ripped off to the tune of $8,000 by TRADERBRAD has no business talking anyone through the trading day.

I hate to be so personal, but I just can't stand cults of personality and faux altruism.

People are always asking me if one can really make any money from Woodie’s CCI Club…

And the answer I always give is an emphatic YES! Then they want to know if the trick is to be found in the Zero Line Reject or perhaps the Shamu – my answer to those questions is: I can’t say for sure – but there is a surefire way that has put major bucks in my cheese locker.

It all came about maybe five or six months ago – on a Wednesday afternoon. I logged in just in time to catch the beginning of one of the world famous Gio seminars – you know, the ones that people were supposedly recording and selling over the internet (smirk and snort). So I sat back, note pad in hand, and began to listen. Nine hours later, she was still droning on, and on, and on. Well I just couldn’t take any more – my frickin’ ears were bleeding!

I ran to the window, threw open the sash, and dropped the speakers outside, slammed the window shut, and rejoiced in the blessed silence.

About three-thirty the following morning, my neighbor Fred Simmons – who I always hated - starts banging on our front door. He’s got this wild crazy look in his eyes, and he’s saying: “For the love of God, I’m begging you, shut that broad up!.” – she didn’t end the “seminar” until late Saturday morning.

But it wasn’t soon enough – Fred put a for sale sign up on Friday.

And then this light bulb goes off over my head. The wife and I had been looking to turn a profit in a real estate deal – if only we could find a good property. Well, I hate Fred, but he’s got a really nice house – it’s worth about a half mil….hmmmmm…

    BINGO

Every Wednesday I start blaring one of Gio’s live seminars at Fred’s place. In the meantime, the wife is stationed up on our roof with a tape recorder, waiting for potential buyers to stop by.

Within three weeks, Fred cracks. I went over and said: “Fred, me and the wife were thinking about putting in an offer.” He says: ‘How much, how much?” I say: “Maybe 84-9.” He looks like he’s going to jump at it, so I quickly said: “On second thought, $63,500.” Fred screams SOLD!

Two weeks later the wife and I flip the place for a hundred grand under the appraised value, and walk with a cool $336,500 profit. The new owners move in next Wednesday – yes, I said Wednesday (Smiling broadly)

Can you make money from Woodie’s room? You bet. Over and over again – with more consistency than you could imagine.

  10. You know NOTHING about me or my trading, so I don't take your comments personally ... and it precisely because of all the scum balls vendors out there, some of which I have had the obnoxious experiences to deal with, that I so vimmanently defending woodies room.

btw, it was only 4k to traderBAD and I will get every penny of it back very soon (court date is April).... and I hardly think that there is a single trader in this forum that has not also fell victim to one of these vendors at one time or another.

Woodies room may not make everyone money but it sure is one heck of a great deal for a set of tools as good or better then ANY out there.

If woodies room saves one person from wasting money on one of these vendors then it a very good thing.

That's all I will say on this thread ....

Tamp, as I said before you will be missed ......:(
